When basing your model, you can simply add sand or flock as normal, but sometimes on really impressive models you could add a small extra detail such as a rock or long grass. There are many of things you could add, a few of which are below, but if you know of any more feel free to email us about it and we may add it.
Rocks
Adding rocks is a very simple way to make a base look much more presentable. The best place to get rocks is quite literally nearly anywhere. The best place is probably the garden at home, but they are all around us. Just stick it onto the base where it looks best with the model and paint it up.

Long Grass
Long Grass can look very effective and can bring a base to life. Get a large brush (that you'd normally use for painting a wall in your house) and clip off a clump of bristles. Get some modelling putty on the base and push the bristles into it.
