Method 1
Stage1
To begin with the eye needs to be painted black (or a dark flesh colour)
Stage2
Get some white paint on your brush and paint a thin line of white across the eye. Be careful to leave some black around the edges. Using paint a bit thinner than usual is useful for this.
Stage3
Finally for the pupil, get a very small amount of black on your brush, and paint a thin vertical line down the middle. Don't worry if you go wrong, you can always paint over it and try again.

Method 2
Stage1
To begin with the eye needs to be painted black (or a dark flesh colour)
Stage2
This time, paint two bits of white, on either side of where the pupil will be. This means that you do not need to paint the pupil in.
