Some armour on Orcs, Orks and vehicles will have scratches in it. The best way to paint these is to first paint the area as if it were new, highlighting it neatly. Then you can ruin it by painting on the scratches. If the area isn't black then paint where the scratches are going to be with black, now with silver you can flick the brush gently along the edges of the armour as scratches. This is best for scratches along the edges of the armour.
