Painting Area
Obviously the most important thing you need is a surface to paint on. Probably the best area is at a desk, with all of your equipment at hand, that is set up all the time. This saves time you would use packing everything up every time you paint. This isn't possible for some people though, but any surface will do. Kitchen table, Gaming table, Small put-me-up table, Ironing board! (Vampire Lord) are some of the places people I know paint. Just remember to put some newspaper down to stop spillages (you don't want to damage gran's antique pine dining table now do we? - Merchant Prince). Other than that, make sure you're comfortable and have enough light (a table near a window is always good, but failing that and lamp with a special daylight bulb is best) and now you can get stuck in!
