Jackalopes

The jackalope  (Lepus temperamentalus)  sightings of the creature go back as far as the 16th century! .Some think they are a cross between a  Rabbit and a antelope, other's a small deer  or pigmy deer . they range in different colors from white  to black most common sightings are of  a light gray white sable and length of fur differs, they  are said to be   the  size of a  cat and have small deer  type horns .It is also said that The Jackalope   Idea came from   rabbit's that had been infected with  rabbit Papilloma virus causing them to have horn like tumors. Jackalopes are known to roam in groups.Group's composing of  Possible older babies that have never left  the parents.   Pairs male and female  stay  together for life  and both  along with other family members take part in young rearing and teaching the young .

Jackalopes are Extremely smart and witty they love to play pranks on people and have been known to fall over laughing, They are also said to love a hard drink ,it's no wonder they are friends of the leprechauns. they will  imitate peoples voices  into luring them into their tricks  but they also are know for having a kind heart  in saving  other animals and lost people. (in one story a small lost child finds his way  back to rescue workers   ,when they talked to  him he said   a bunny with the horns showed him the way back   )
