Happy Easter! I have been working on the new design for the past few days and decided that I was redesigning the entire page. HOPEFULLY, it will be out late tonight! And the Oldwarez games will be taken down along with a few others.

4/21/2000-
As some of you may have noticed, a crapload of downloads in the games section (namely, any of them with the NEW Icon and a few others as well) were down today. For this, we're sorry. It was due to a server crash. It took out the newest games uploaded last night for the competition (see the Entrance Page for more on that), which, due to this crash, we lost. The games will, however, be back by tomorrow night! We're sorry for the delay!

UPDATE!


Some games are up! only ONE MORE WEEK til the Oldwarez goes! And we are working on a new design for the Games section. We hope to get many more games in the next few months. Expect HUNDREDS of them! Visit the DOS Graveyard for a preview of the design and layout of the Games Section! Thanks guys! Expect this layout within, hopefully, a few weeks. As you will notice if you go to the DOS Graveyard, it will take an emmense amount of HTML to do it all and a lot more space! Also, as you might have already noticed, The Kings Jester is no longer here. We decided to go strictly Abandonware and get rid of it. St4n6^ is still writing it so If you would like to recieve chapters in E-mail, drop a line. Maybe later we will again post it along with the other book he is writing at this time, Blood NET, a book based on one of the best Abandonware titles of all time, BloodNET. GET IT!

Okay, SORRY guys about the little entrance mixup! Apparently a partner of mine linked the page to itself so you never saw the actual page. SORRY! I DID get those games as promised, and I hope to have them up for download by tonite!

Sorry guys, the plan failed. There was no response, and I decided to leave it to the pros. There is, however, a site much like it. TUOL. I have a new partner (unofficially), but he has not decided for SURE to abandon his site for The Source. There will be (promise!) new games within the next few days. And big news! I am thinking of deleting a few popular games (Space Quest, Kings Quest, and Quest for Glory games) because they arent TECHNICALLY abandonware. They are Oldwarez. Abandonware is games no longer being printed and over five years old. The previously mentioned games ARE in fact being printed (or so I have been told. I'm checking Sierra and seeing if they still do). I would like to go COMPLETELY abandonware, so I would get onto the TUOL. Not to mention a few Rings. And on to the most noticible change, we have a new entrance page. Yes, I know it may be a LITTLE extreme, but I'm just trying it out for a week or two. It took me a VERY long time to figure out the Scripting and get it PERFECT so PLEASE don't complain (at least directly....) And also, no more RIGHT CLICKING!-St4n6^C0m3d14n

I am finished witht hree uploads. Kings Quest VGA, Space Quest VGA, and Terminator 2-The arcade Game, are all available for download now! Also, I am currently getting ahold of a 15 game pack of a bucnh of mixed up classics like Paper Boy, Pacman (I was stoked when I saw that title in this download!) and SKate or die! I'll put them up as soon as I get them all uploaded! It shouldnt take more than a day! Thanks guys!-st4n6^

OKay, heres my idea. I want to make a site built by all the people with small abandonwarez sites that are good enough to be on top but get beat out by cheating sites. There would be NO forced voting, NO mis-guiding links, and a toplist of all the sites that deserve the credit. This toplist would have to monitored by us so no one is cheating. This site would include ROMS and Abandonware from a lot of the sites involved. If you are interested in doing this, PLEASE inform me at Sourceqa@hotmail.com. We WILL beat out the cheating and lying streaks!-St4n6^C0m3d14n

I've decided to expand on the SOurce and I need a new partner. I'm looking at some of the small warez sites that look like their owners have some potential. Many of you guys are being beaten out by non-SF Warez sites that FORCE votes and the like. If you would like to help, e-mail me at itty53@hotmail.com. Okay, I've been putting together the Literary Arts page. There are a LOT of bugs in it now. I wouldnt try to go in and lok around cause all thats there is my Book. I have been updating a few bugs, working them out. And In a few days there will be about 5 new games. The VGA versions of Space Quest and Kings Quest (Both the first), Simtower, Police Quest III, and a few more. Thanks guys!-St4n6^C0m3d14n
