Protoss Mission Strategies

Mission 1 - The Fall
The first of the Protoss missions, you must meet Praetor Fenix at Antioch and destroy the Zerg base. The advantages are falling into your lap now, the Protoss are the most powerful of all the races, although they are also the most expensive.

Move your forces to the left and around the river, by following the river you will get to Fenix quickly, if your troops take a lot of damage rest them and allow their shields to recharge. Once the base is under your control build ten Drones, set these to harvesting the gas and minerals and then warp in three Photon Cannons across the entry to your base. Warp in a Pylon beside your gateway and then warp in a Cybernetics Core and place 12 Dragoons upon the left wall. Upgrade the Dragoons at the Cybernetics Core and begin upgrading at the Forge.

Build a force of ten Dragoons and move to the top right of the map, here you will find more resources, there are four Mutalisks here but they shouldn't prove too much of a challenge for ten Dragoons. Once the area is secured bring a Drone up and build a Nexus and an Assimilator. Harvest the minerals and gas, build a force of 20 Dragoons and 20 Zealots and send them into the Zerg Hive Cluster. This force will be enough to ensure you victory, even if they don't destroy all the Zerg they will cripple them and allow you to build another attack force.
