StarcraftProtoss Mission StrategiesMission 5 - Choosing Sides Put groups of three Photon Cannons around the perimeter of your base, about three groups of three, this will keep the Overlords back. Now warp in five Dragoons at your Gateway and move them to the bottom below your Gateway. Near your top Nexus warp in a Stargate, a Citadel of Adun and a Robotics Facility. Once these have warped in you will need a Templar Archive and a Robotics Support Facility, build five Scouts and four Shuttles and begin to upgrade at the Forge, the Cybernetics Core, the Citadel of Adun, the Robotics Support Facility and the Templar Archive. Using Tassadar create several illusions of your Scouts, now move these toward the centre of the map, you will eventually find and island with Zerg upon it. Using the illusionary Scouts draw their Scourges to attack you, thus destroying their main form of air defence. Now warp in two Reavers and 12 Zealots and four Templar, load these into your Shuttles and prepare to attack the island in the middle. Create more illusions of your Scouts and use your force of Scouts to attack the Spore Colonies. Unload your troops from the Shuttles and watch them destroy everything on the island. When the island is Zerg free build a Nexus a Gateway and cover the perimeter with Photon Cannons. Move your spare Probes over from the first island and build your Scouts up to five again. Now warp in another 12 Templar, these twelve merge into six Archons, warp in ten more shuttles and 12 more Dragoons. Using your Scouts attack the top right of the Zerg base. When you attack the Zerg General Duke will appear and threaten you, at this point start building Dragoons at your middle base and at the top base use Tassadar and his Psychic Storm on any ships that get past your defences. Your force will easily over run the Hive Cluster, leaving you a few little bits to clean up. When the area is secure bring over Tassadar and two Zealots in a Shuttle and drop them by the beacon. Once they step on the beacon you have won the mission. |
