    Mission 4 - The Jacobs Installation
    In this mission you take a small crack squadron of men into the Confederate base before the evacuation of Mar Sara, whilst there you have to retrieve data disks that contain weapon schematics vital to Arcturus Mensk, leader of the Sons of Korhal.

    This mission is set inside a Confederate installation, you start with 11 men and Jim Raynor, Raynor must survive. Firstly move your men through the first set of doors, there will be automated defences but your men will take care of these for minimal losses to them. Turn right here and move along up to the staircase, move up the staircase to the Terran beacon. The Terran beacon will teleport you to a room with another beacon, this activates the security cameras. Now move back to the original beacon to teleport back. Move down the stairs and continue straight along the corridor ignoring the doors, there is a Goliath and several units through these doors so it is best not to go through them just yet. Move all the way along this corridor until you reach a set of doors right at the end of it. Go through these doors and slaughter the civilians and SCVs.

    Move your troops up the stairs at the end of the room to another set of doors move through these and shoot the lone Marine guarding the way. Move your men upwards, DO NO TURN RIGHT, turning right will take you down toward the waiting Goliath and men, a fight you will probably win but at quite a loss.

    Move up to the next turning, there will be a turn to your right and a door to your left, enter the door and take care of the Marine lurking in the bottom left hand corner. Send one of your men to walk over the beacon, this will deactivate the base' automatic defences, meaning no more wall mounted rocket launchers or flame throwers to worry about.

    From the doors go straight out and ahead, this should be taking you up and to the left. Up here you will find locked cells and two Firebats, move your Marines up first as they will have the range to kill the Firebats before they can do any damage. Then move your men onto the beacon, this will unlock the cell doors showing you the Zerg inhabitants, kill the Zerglings and then move on.

    Move your men back down to the junction, here you should turn left and move up the screen again, move your men up to the civilians standing in the corner. After your men have killed the civilians move them along the corridor, you will encounter two more Marines but your men will be able to deal with them fairly rapidly. Continue along the corridor until you reach the stairs, move down the stairs but do not open the doors at the bottom, you will find two Vultures in there and nothing useful so save your men's health.

    Move up the other flight of stairs and kill the two Marines standing there, then move onto the beacon, this will teleport you Sector one.

    Moving to the doors will result in the automated weapons systems coming back Online, two flame throwers will appear through the ground take care of these quickly as they can be very damaging. As you move through the doors take care as there are three Marines waiting for you on the other side, move your Marines to the front with Raynor and just open the door, this should give you the range benefit from your upgraded weapons.

    Continue along until you reach the doors through which you will find a selection of Confederate scum and the data disks you need for victory.

    Just be careful of the automated defences that pop up and give you a bit of a scare. Once you hit the beacon the victory will be yours.
