StarcraftZerg Mission StrategiesMission 5 - The Amerigo Your first move is to travel with your Hunter Killers down the stairs to meet your Zerglings. You will discover that your Zerglings are harder than the normal Zergling whilst your Hunter Killers are far harder than the average Hydralisk. Now Move Kerrigan through the doors and take her up the stairs, there is a Ghost here that will shoot her, so move her to him quickly and deal with him. Now move the rest of your squad to her position. Cloak Kerrigan and move her through the doors to attack the marines, don't get the rest of your squad too close as the marines can see through the door to shoot you. After dispatching the marines move Kerrigan to the Terran beacon and then bring your squad forward. Decloak Kerrigan and move her through the two doors beside the beacon, kill the civilians. Once again cloak Kerrigan and move her through the doors, past the dead civilians, down the stairs and make her attack the Vulture, keeping her cloaked move down the corridor until you encounter Goliaths. Destroy the Goliaths and clear the room of any other troops. Decloak Kerrigan and rest her until her energy is once again full, while she is resting run your squad down to the room she is in, so it quickly and don't stop for anything and you should get through with all your Zerg intact. Rest your squad and allow them to heal, whilst this is happening you should move Kerrigan down and left, along the wall, cloak her and move into the room up and to the right, it is full of easy meat. Move Kerrigan cloaked through the room, killing everything so that you can safely move the rest of your squad up. Take Kerrigan up the stairs and kill the Ghost, now move her down the passage, as soon as she kills the civilian six machine gun turrets will appear. Don't worry Kerrigan can take one of these things out with a single hit and she has more than enough health to take everything these things can dish out. Now move Kerrigan down until you reach a native creature holding pen, just past this there are three Terran marines shooting Zerglings in a cage, kill them and move to the right, here there is a beacon by walking on this you will unlock the prison doors. Now move Kerrigan around to the doors of the cells, on the way two more of those machine gun turrets will pop up, take care of these and pick up your extra Zerglings. Once Kerrigan is on full energy cloak her and move her down and round to the next corridor on her own, a line of 11 Marines await her. Be warned there are three very nasty missile launchers awaiting that will show Kerrigan even when she is cloaked. Move in and take out two of them then retreat to regenerate. Once you are on full health and power again (you should decloak once you are out of sight) charge back in, take out the final missile turret and trounce the Terrans. Move the rest of your squad up and rest Kerrigan until she has full cloaking energy. Now move her down the stairs cloaked and into the large room, there are a lot of Firebats in this room so move her through and kill them all off. Before you move into the room shown below make sure that you are on full health. Once you enter the room the doors seal and two missile turrets appear up the stairs, kill the marines in the room quickly, move up the stairs and then destroy the turrets first. After the turrets are destroyed the cloaking will work again and you can take care of the other marines at your leisure. Now walk Kerrigan over the two beacons and move her back to the rest of her squad. Take your two Hunter Killers and move them into the room, three Firebats should come down the stairs, kill them and destroy the missile turret at the top of the stairs. If you take all your troops up the stairs you will find a teleport pad, cloak Kerrigan and take her through the teleport pad, use her to clear the area of hostile troops before moving the rest of your squad through. Allow Kerrigan to recharge and move down the stairs and kill the people in the corridor, once the area is clear stop and bring up the rest of your squad. By leaving one of your Zerglings at the teleport you can see the Ghosts. Use Kerrigan to ensnare as many as she can and then charge your Zerglings and Hunter Killers in. When you have gained the top of the stairs move Kerrigan onto the beacon and you have won. |
