Southern Warbirds Squadron is a group of guys who enjoy flying on the zone.
Most games we play are restricted, moderate to hard, and like most squadrons we do not play with edited dp files. If any of our members are found to have used edited dp's or any sort of cheat in a restricted game, they will be dismissed from the squadron. If the game is advertised as being unrestricted or mods allowed, then this rule does not apply. While we are all pretty broadminded, we do not condone rudeness or stupidity on the zone and try to set an example as a good squadron.
If you are new to the zone and need help, give us a yell. Joining is quite simple, get acquainted with some of the members and do some flying with them. It takes 3 members to ok a new member. You don't need to be an ace, but you must have a good sense of humour.
Please! You do not have to prove yourself by personally challenging any members to air combat. If you do this then we feel you do not have the maturity to join us. Our motto is "One in, All in" and any important decisions are made by majority vote.

Membership to Southern Warbirds has now closed. Membership is by invitation only.
