  Ok, we said the last version of the FAQ was the final, but we
found some errors that HAD to be corrected. Since v5.2, we've added
the following things:

* Rage List corrections - now complete with 255 monsters
* Manson GG Codes
* More GG Code Tricks
* Readded the "Best of FF3," which had somehow been taken
  out of the previous versions
* Supporting Characters' Descriptions
* Rare Items List (with Item List)
* Spell Stats (was Runic List)
* Advanced Battle Tactics

So, we felt compelled to give gamesters a new version, since
we've added so much to the FAQ. We hope you find it useful in
your gameplay. ;)

INTRO TO THE FINAL VERSION 5.2:

        What can I say, but "We're back!" Yes, though this FAQ has
been through as many changes as a FAQ can handle, it's back for one
more round. Hopefully, the work myself and my fellow FAQ-writers have
put into this great piece of work will pay off - in that you, the reader,
will gain new insight and knowledge from our efforts. In all honesty,
I cannot speculate whether this will be the last FAQ, as RPGers all,
by birth, the most creative, hard-working, and eager people on the
'Net, and new info always seems to surface. Over the years, it has
been an extreme joy to work on this FAQ, perhaps the most well-known
and respected FAQ on the game ever to circulate the 'Net. I don't know
how many times I've been stopped on the street and asked for an autograph
(actually, none, but feel free to start if you see one of us!). Since
the three of us first put our collective thoughts to the keyboard, we
have worked wonders together - let's hope we can get together to make
even more awesome FAQs in the future! :)
        Well, just when we thought it was all over, I mess around with
my trusty Game Genie and discover a few new monsters and secrets on the
Veldt - oops! :) So I suppose that with the current rumors and bits of
new info surfacing these days, a NEW final version is in order. Aside
from these tidbits, however, the FAQ has remained much the same it was
last version, and the version before that. But the changes made herein
are pretty exciting, and definitely worth a checking out! Finally, and
I know I've said this in my old FF2 FAQ and in every other FAQ I've
written, if you see any of the people who have worked on this masterpiece
online (or in person, even), stop and thank them. Each has contributed
unselfishly to the finished product, not for fame or fortune (put the
money down, guys...), but for the pleasure of bringing a smile to an
RPGer's face. Without this and other such wonderful FAQs, where would
the gaming world be?
        And, in Kung's tradition, I leave these words of wisdom: "Life
is a rollercoaster, so fasten your seatbelt and hold onto your lunch!"
