COCKPIT
The F/A-18E Super Hornet has a single cockpit. This cockpit enables to perform all the function where most other aircraft would require two crewmen. Not that you are overwhelmed with double of workload, it's just that the F/A-18E is so sophisticated, you can accomplish so much more in the half the space and time.
Jane's F/A-18 utilizes a 3D virtual cockpit. Many cockpit function are mouse "clickable" with in this virtual environment. The remaining functions are keyboard controlled or accessed by your joystick. The cockpit features a Heads-Up Display (HUD), an Up Front Controller (UFC), two monochrome Multipurpose Display Indicators (MDI) a Multipurpose Color Display (MPCD), and Electronic Fuel Display (EFD) and several conventional standby instruments.
