What is an "Autonomous Bibliographic Building Agent"?
It is referred to as Project ABBA and this is the project was given to us (My classmate, Indrashah and I) by Mr Tralvex Yeap, our attachment project supervisor.
This project will consist of a program that will allow us to organize bibliographic information gathered from the web based on the topic "ROBOCUP" to a standardized format using Visual Basic Programming.
There are four main important points that this program requires which is to recognise the Author (Statement of Responsibility), Title of the publication (which will be underlined), Publication (Name of the journal/article) and lastly the Date of Publication (e.g. 1998).
Our main task here for this project is to come up with a report on the "Issues surrounding the Building of Project ABBA". We are to do research from various sources available either from the Internet, Books, newspapers, etc on how to build an Autonomous Bibliography Building Agent with the necessary functions as mentioned above. Topics that I will be looking into will include:
Text Mining/Data Mining
Information Retrieval, and
Neural Networks
