Contrary to popular opinion, I was born in the usual way, not hatched, not rising from a witch's cauldron, not springing fully blown from Danielle Steel's head, in Chicago. I started writing fanfic many, many years ago and wrote several truly bad UFO pieces. Thank the goddess they never saw the light of day. I've been active in fandom for about 7 or 8 years, starting with The Man From U.N.C.L.E. and falling into KFTLC after years of saying "a good looking guy in tight jeans isn't enough to make me watch." Nobody told me he could act. My very first written KFTLC fic was called "Lunch Date" and eventually wound up being published in Coming of Age IV. I think my first stories to be published were either "One Night Stand" in Reflections I, or "Caine's Choice" and "New Heart" in Bridging The Gap: Pathways. Since then I've had stories in every issue of Reflections, Patterns 6, and Bridging The Gap #2. I also have stories due out in Reflections III, Patterns 7, Crossroads, a new KFTLC/Silk zine, and I'll have a piece in Silk Crossings for which I'm editor-in-chief. My first KFTLC novel: "But With My Eyes" premiered at the end of May, 1999.
