An Ode to Tasuki


On the loneliness of Mt. Leikaku, a lost person huddled in the downpour of snow. This person had strayed from the path to town, for he was searching for bigger and better things.

"Lekka shien!!" a wild cry startled the poor person. Huge amounts of flame toasted the stranger right up. A flame haired fang boy came running.

"Heh heh. I was aiming for someone else, but I guess you'll do," Tasuki happily said, pulling the person with him.

"Sure, I'll go anywhere with you hot-cakes," a husky low voice finally spoke to Tasuki when they were near arriving to a "house". Well, "hide-out".

"Eh heh heh heh...I only go well with female hostages," Tasuki said, quite scared.

"Don't worry baby, I can go with the flow," the husky voice said again.

"Uh...I can set you up with someone better suited to your tastes," Tasuki tried to be gentle. The person then roughly grabbed Tasuki by the neck.

"No way baby. I like hot and fiery men like you ," the person said. One long lashed eye came out from under the cowl they were wearing and started furiously winking at him.

"LEKKA SHINEN!!!!!!" Tasuki got incredibly scared. Even more scared than when Aidou threatened him. The flames burned the cowl off the person to reveal..."A WOMAN!! I think you're seriously messed up!" The woman, was merely a teenager. She blushed, as she was very womanly for a teenager ^_-.

"Hey Genrou, did you find anyone good today? WHOA! This is one catche we HAVE to keep! She'll be making men out of us in no time!" Kouji exclaimed.

"Hmph, a woman. I've always hated women anyway," Tasuki grunted. "Women... They belong in @#$%@$^$%&%$ women..."

"That's okay. I don't like men either," the girl said. "You can call me Aka."

"I guess that's an *o-kay* name," Tasuki said disgruntled, noting that all of the bandits were peeking through the windows to catch a glimpse of her. "Oh yeah? You've got short legs and little hands. What kind of man is that!?" Aka exclaimed. Tasuki growled and muttered, "Women...." Aka glared back and muttered, "Men..."

"So, what exactly are you doing here?" Kouji cut in, trying to break the glaring contest between Aka and Tasuki. "I mean, not everyone travels these parts unless...you didn't know about the Mt. Leikaku bandits. Where are you from?"

Tasuki smashed Kouji aside. "Don't make friends with women. Once you do, they use their poison to pull you in and you're lost forever. Men deserve to stay MEN, we don't need frilly wimps. Who needs to mate anyway? WHO @#$#@%$ CARES about the future of mankind?" Tasuki glared at Aka. Aka glared right back, settling down into the chair inside the bandits' hide-out.

"*I* for one, don't need men. You ARE right, we don't need to mate with anything *or* anyone. As for what I was doing, I was out searching for bigger and better things. I was hoping maybe to find riches and gold....instead, I found a piece of fierce faced trash," Aka said right back, her arms crossed , nose in air.

Koji eyed his best friend, but complied and left the two alone. "What the HELL did you think you were doing? Go back to your home. Obviously you don't have any money and you aren't worth keeping here for a ransom. And I sure as hell don't won't you and your frilliness around here."

"Frilliness? Is that even a word you stupid fang-boy?" She turned and looked as Koji came back into the room. He smiled at Tasuki.

"Koji, deposit her back outside. I don't want her anywhere near here." Koji went over to his leader. The two then turned around with their backs to Aka. She struggled to move to hear what the two were saying.

"But, she could really make men out of us. It's not like we have to share her with the others." Koji smiled, and pointed to Aka. Tasuki groaned. "I think she likes you Gen-chan. You know you like her. Come on, just keep her. I bet she'll even help us in our ways. She'd be a great distraction when we rob some of those merchants. All she'd have to do is walk by and then we steal all their stuff. We'd be rich beyond our wildest imaginations."

"Do whatever the hell you want with her. I'll have no part in this." He then turned back to Aka. "I hate women. All women. Especially ones like you." He then got up and left Aka and Koji alone.

Aka walked up to Koji, "Why did you tell him I LIKED him?!?!?!?"
To Koji's eyes she seemed to have grown three extra feet. Koji looked terrified, "I...I...um...well...you make it seem so obvious..."
Aka's eyes widened. This can't be good. If he finds out that I've got a thing for him I don't think he'll ever make me forget....
All of a sudden she was broken away from her thoughts by an SD Koji, "Hellooooo....come back to us Aka. You alive in there??" A startled Aka blinked and then kneed Koji where it hurts and glared at him silently. Koji was wiggling on the floor like a fish out of water (yeah I know it sounds corny).
"I...I...I'll be right back," he managed to squeak. He slowly picked himself up off the floor (still in SD height mind you), looked at Aka with frightened eyes and then stammered out of the room.

Koji, still a little sore, went to Tasuki's room and stood outside for a second. He then started his little speech..."may I come in? who is it? Koji. come in. thank you" (go figure).
Koji walked in and found Tasuki sitting on his bed looking quite out there while playing with his tessen. He turned quickly towards Koji and since he didn't realize who it was he..."LEKKA SHIEN!!!!"
Koji was unaffected ... except for the fact that he was now deep fried. Tasuki cocked an eyebrow, "Oops...sorry Koji."
Koji stared at Tasuki. "Well," Tasuki said nonchalantly. After Koji came to he said," We're going on a little trip tomorrow. To that place I've been wanting to go. Ya know that quaint little shop that just happens to be loaded."
Tasuki nodded, "All right but what was so important about that?"
Koji grinned wickedly and then walked towards the door. "Oh yeah...we're bringing' Aka with us," he said over his shoulder. Tasuki's eyes widened," WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALK---"
The door slammed shut before Tasuki could finish. This is the perfect thing to get Gen-chan and Aka to confess there feelings for each other, he thought to himself.
"MWA HA HA HA HA," he laughed evilly...until he started getting strange looks from people walking through the hall.


What now? Continue this for me, men and women! You are all now dismissed. ^_^
