Take Me Now No Regrets

It was over soon there would be nothing left of them or the world they
lived in and they both knew it. She stood there in the door way watching
him with those strange yet lovely and intoxicating silver green eyes
that
he couldn't look away from and yet couldn't see to get enough of at
the
same time. As the wall of fire speed towards the earth the sky was
alight
with a strange orange glow, streaked with blood red and flourescent
pink
gases steamers that clashed and yet at the same time seemed to compliment
each other. Her long red gold hair flowed around her shimmering in
that
strange light and suddenly he wondered what it would be like to touch
that hair to feel it against his body her soft red lips smiled her
cheeks
stained with a light rose colored blush and she looked away from him.
In
that moment he wished that there had been something more he could have
done anything to save her from the fate of the world. But it was too
late
they had all found out the hard way that there was no way they could
beat
nature no matter how much power they had. Inexserable it drew closer
and
her fate was now his as well as that of every other human on the earth.
They others sat in the living room down stairs, they were all quiet
no
one said a word they had all failed and now it was too late to do
anything but sit here and wait for the end to come.
Slowly he tore his eyes from her fine set cheek bones and slightly
slanted eyes framed by long reddish gold lashes, those delicately pointed
ears, and soft red lips. They traveled the length of her body over
her
slime waist and down the expanse of her lightly tanned, nicely shaped
legs. He drew in a slow breath and looked at her again as she stood
there
dressed in a pair of short black cut off jeans and a loss fitting,
dark
green tank that showed off her flat slightly toned stomach for him
to
see. He swallowed and looked back up. She was so beautiful so so so
beautiful. He moved from the open balcony doors to stand before her
his
soft finger tips brushed her lips and silver tears brimmed in her eyes
as
he pulled her close, genitally kissing the top of her head. She looked
up
at him and her lips slightly parted as if she was going to say
something
but nothing came. A strange glint of fear in her eyes touched him it
was
something he wasn't used to seeing there and for some reason it scared
him. He kissed her roughly putting all the longing, passion, anger,
and
lover into that kiss knowing that he had no the words to tell her nor
the
time in which to say it all or to shower her. Her broke the kiss a
few
minutes latter his tongue gently caressing her slightly swollen lips
before her brushed the tears off her cheeks with his fingers and kissed
her again.
"Take me,"she hissed in a low tight voice,"Tame me now
before it's too
late."
"But¼"he could see the longing in her eyes and
knew she could see it
in hiss,"All right,"he whispered with a slight smile,"This isn't the
way
I wanted this to happen Jaya,"he kissed her gental this time,"But
if
it's what you want."
"I do,'she replied pulling him close,"Seiji I want you
to make love to
me, before we die, I want to know...,"she paused,"..I want to know
what
it's like, I don't want to die a virgin, I want to die yours,"she gave
a
dry laugh,"I wanted to wait till our wedding night,"she sighed,"But
I
don't think that'll work out now."
"Jaya,"he whispered her name softly and nodded unable
to say anything
else. Slowly he reached down to run his hand cross the bare skin of
her
stomach, before reaching back to slip off the dark green blouse she
was
wearing over the top of her tank. Her own hands finding the front of
the
while shirt he was wearing already practically unbuttoned cause of
the
heat......
Ryo glanced around the gathered group, Touma stood next to the window
watching the flourescent light display in the sky, a sad little smile
on
his face. The gasses racing through, across, and over the atmosphere
was
casting a strange glow around the room. Shu sat on the floor next to
the
little coffee table snacking anxiously from a bowl of chips, only instead
of inhaling them all by handfuls as usual he was eating each of them
one
by one. Examine everyone before he put it into his mouth, picking out
only the whole ones, till there were none left. Shin sat at the other
end
of the couch across from Ryo. Ryo was surprised to find his friend
watching him with a strange look on his, in his blue-green eyes that
were
slightly more blue then green. Shin turned away from Ryo's gaze running
his hand though his red brown hair, looking down to where he was absently
picking at the worn multi colored blue material. Everyone looked up
even
Touma turned from the strange tortured sky and withering forest steam
rose from the lake filling the sky as the heat slowly evaporated it
away.
But the steam only dimmed the unreally hues above it as Nausti came
through the door carrying a tray of icy drinks.
"I turned the air conditioner all the way up,"she said
quietly.
"Only an hour,"said Touma sitting down behind Shu.
"We'll be dead before it even hits,"he added a few minutes
later,"If
we're lucky,"he shrugged,"Either way it really doesn't matter though
it
should be fast we won't even know it's coming before it hits most
likely."
"Ryo,"he looked up at Nausti and she glanced down at the
tray,"Can I
talk to you...alone?"
"Sure,"Ryo stood up and she set the tray on the table
handing him one
of the drinks as they silently turned and headed into the kitchen.
"I wonder what's up,"Shin said taking a drink as he glanced
towards
the kitchen door just in time to see it quietly close.
"I don't know,"replied Shu quietly,"But I bet Seiji and Jaya
are having
fun."
"So what,"put in Touma,"At least someone is, before we
all die,"there
was a bitter note to his voice but no one cared to comment on it.
They fell back to the bed locked in each others arms and she gasped
in
pleasure as his hands traveled up and down the length of her body.
He
smiled pausing for a sec to kiss her mouth. Focused on nothing, nothing
but her the way she felt the way she smelled the way he felt his blood
burn fire when his hands touched once forbidden place…
They all jumped when they felt the opening of the dynasty gate, besides
Seiji and Jaya too lost in each other to notice anything else even
if the
skies had been falling, and the earth burning they wouldn't have noticed.
Then the kitchen door opened and Ryo came back in his eyes were sad
there
were tears on his cheeks but a happy smile on his face.
"What happened?"asked Touma eyes him.
"Sh'ten and the others came for Nausti,"he replied sitting
down,"She'll be happy with Sh'ten."
"What about us?"put in Shu with a pouting look on his
face.
"I told them we had to say,"Ryo looked down,"our place
is here."
"So you just made that decision for all of us,"cried Shin
with a hurt
and surprised look.
"He's right through,"Touma spoke up,"our place is here
with the people
of this place we couldn't help them and we can't desert them now."
There
was a pause and they all heard the scream from up stairs, Touma
started
to his feet but Ryo shook his head.
"Let them be,"he said quietly,"They are together at last,
as it should
be."
"But I thought they were going to wait till…"Shin sighed
but didn't
finish what he'd been going to say.
"A lot of things can happen when you know you're going
to die,'said
Ryo quietly,"Besides Nausti told me!"
"Nani?"hissed Shin in surprise.
"Hai, about what?"asked Touma.
"What you told her, last night,"replied Ryo watching Shin
for a second
before he reached over and stole a couple of chips from Shu's bowl,
glancing at Touma and Shu, he shook his head,"Nothing, nothing at all."
Seiji reached down and gently touched her cheek before collapsing next
to her on the soiled sheets neither one noticing or carry as she turned
to him with a smile. Her lips slowly formed the silent thank you though
no sound came. He slipped his arms around her thin body pulling her
closer as she lay her head on his chest her red gold hair spilling
out
all around them like a sheet. He felt it fall all around his body and
hers, closing his eyes he kissed the top of her head gently pulling
her
closer lost in the sense of her soft warm body against his skin against
skin, surrounded by the waves of red gold silk… He held her close
wondering what he'd don't to deserve this. ~I love you~ he whispered
in a
low reverent voice.
There was a roar and the house rocked as the first heat wave hit it,
another followed close in the wave of the first and everything was
quiet.
Suddenly Shin set down his drink with a loud crash that made everyone
jump and look over at him in surprise.
"It's true,"he hissed looking locking Ryo in a razor sharp
look,"I do,
I love you." Those simple words hung in the think hot hair inside the
house the air conditioner no longer doing what it had been created
to do.
For a second everything was quiet not a single wound was heard
inside or
out. Then silently Touma stood up drink in one hand book in the other.
"I'm going to go get caught up with my reading,"he said
heading up the
stairs. He paused at Seiji's door and peered in a sat yet happy look
slipped across his face when he saw them laying there locked in each
others arms fast asleep. He turned away remembering how it had been
before she'd come, remember the nights he and Seiji had stayed up all
night when the others had been out, just the two of them. But that
was
long over, blinking back a single tear that slide slowly down his cheek
as he stepped into his room wishing them luck in the next life if there
was such a thing.
"I'm going to go see if I can't finish my video game for once,"said
Shu
grabbing his drink and chips. He glanced from Shin to Ryo then
nodded,"Good luck."
"You to,"replied Shin blinking back tears that suddenly
threatened to
spill over as Shu disappeared down the stairs to the basement.
"Shin,"said Ryo quietly,"Why….why didn't you…you ever
te…tell me?"
Shin looked away glancing out the window before finally meeting Ryo's
piercing look.
"Because…because I didn't want…didn't know what you…would
say or…or
think if I did,"he whispered.
"Shin,"Ryo's voice was soft as he moved closer to the
other. Gently
slipping two slim ebony fingers beneath Shin's chin he lifted his face
till he could look right into the others confused blue green eyes that
stared back at him,"I love you to,"he whispered leaning forward to
gently
kiss Shin as the heat and light of the energy wave exploded around
the
house leaving nothing in it's wake….Take the two new lovers still locked
in each others arms, the lonely figure with his book setting in his
lap
eyes watching as fate swooped down towards him, the one in the basement
pounding angrily on a pair of battered controllers, and the pair sitting
on the couch. Just having confessed their love for each other, their
lips
still locked as their tongues dance… They were all gone whipped away
by
on sweep of nature gone forever from this world….
