Okay! This is my first, comical Slayers fic ^.^!! All the things I've written before was so serious. Hmmm... that's not like me, that's not like me at all. I hope you'll enjoy it! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- POKER! "DAMN!" Lina yelled when she lost another five gold coins. This was not going well... she never got any good cards and just kept losing all the time... well... atleast she were better than Gourry. "I've got three ladies? What should I do" Gourry asked them. "Oh, you should defiantly throw them away" Said a very cheerful Xelloss. She knew it weren't right that she let him do this but sometimes Gourry had to handle things on his own... and it was good that somebody was playing worse than she did. "How many cards Lina-chan?" Xelloss asked and smiled, I bet he did some cheating with the cards... since he's Mazoku there's no doubt. "Three" I said and he handed me the cards. another thing that he had to his advantage was that he could tell how everybody felt around him. It didn't help no matter how good your poker face was. Lina checked her cards, Not bad... she thought. maybe this is going better after all. She thought. She had for the moment three aces, one King and one Jack. (Sorry if it's wrong... but I really ain't all that familiar with the names on english (^.^) ). Everybody got their cards and looked them through. Currently in the pot: 34 gold coins 2 rings 1 magic scroll 1 bunny slipper "Amelia?" Xelloss said and turned to her. "I'll raise" She said and put another 4 gold coins to the pot. "Same here" Lina said and put in a gold brooch. "Me too" Zelgadiss said and put a diamond ring into the pot. "Wow, where'd you get that Zel?" Lina asked. "I sold something" He replied. "Gourry?" Xelloss asked. "Umm... I don't know..." He was unsure of what to do. "Just raise" Xelloss said happily. Gourry put five gold coins into the pot. Amelia put her cards up "Pairs in Kings!" She said happily... I couldn't help but grin "Triplet at Aces" I said and smiled, she lost her smile. "Full House" Zelgadiss said. "Ummm... Something" Gourry said and handed out his cards, they were threes and twos. Xelloss smiled widely, this didn't bode well. "Royal Straight Flush" Xelloss said and showed his cards. Then he took the pot happily. Three hours later... Lina, Zelgadiss and Xelloss were the only ones left playing now. Lina was running out of things to bet. Xelloss had so far been the big winner, he must be cheating, Lina thought again. "I've got a fun idea" Xelloss said and grinned "Since Lina is obviously running out of things to bet why don't we play with clothes?" He said happily. "CLOTHES POKER??" Zelgadiss said, eyes bugging (Quite unusual dont'cha think? (^.^) ) Lina thought about this for a moment... it was a pretty good idea, and if she was about to lose anything important she could just stop, right? "Okay" Lina said. "WHAT?!" Zelgadiss said. "Good" Xelloss said. Lina began with betting one of her boots... she would get everything back again later anyway, Right? "I don't know about this..." Zelgadiss said. Xelloss turned to him "Oh don't worry Zel... If we play good enough we might get Lina to show something interesting" The Mazoku smiled yet again. Zelgadiss turned all red in the face "B-b-but..." "Oh come on Zel, I can always quit... can't I?" She said and smiled. That seemed to calm Zel a bit. Xelloss pouted "That wouldn't be very nice Lina-chan..." She stuck his tongue out at him. "Well... Okay then" Zelgadiss said and slipped off one of his boots. "Since you're both being so coward..." The Mazoku also slipped on of his boots of "I'll be one too" He smiled and put it into the pot. "Ohh... who wants to win three boots?" She said and frowned at the pot. "Ne Lina-chan... you could always bet... something else" He opened his eyes and looked at her. She shook her head. Later... Zelgadiss and Xelloss seemed to have most of their clothes left... but Lina was sitting there, in her underwear! Xelloss smiled brightly. "What will you bet now? Lina-chan" He cooked his head to the side. Lina could have just walked out... but since she had nothing left... almost... she had betted that she wouldn't quit the game until the one that won didn't want to play anymore... she had been very unlucky... Xelloss had won. "Ne, Lina-chan?" She sighed again, she certainly didn't want to show them anything. Xelloss then leaned forward and whispered something in her ear. Her eyes widened and she turned all red in the face. He withdrew and looked at her. "W-well I guess so... Since I'll win this one!" She smiled. "Then you agree?" Xelloss asked, obviously satisfied. "Agree to what?" Zelgadiss asked, he was very confused. "Well... you'll find out if you win" Xelloss said and smiled brightly. Zelgadiss: triple Jacks. Lina: Triple Aces. Xelloss: Four Kings. Lina's eyes widened as Xelloss opened his eyes and smiled at her. "I guess I won... ne? Lina-chan?" Lina trembled a little, and then nodded. "Come on then... Lina-chan..." He said and stood up, offering her his hand. She took it and he lead her up the stairs to his bedroom. "Hey, what!?!" Zelgadiss screamed and dashed up the stairs, he'd obviously figured out just WHAT Xelloss had suggested. He sweated. How could that bastard ever do that!?! He asked himself and threw the door open. He gasped... they were... they were... Singing christmas carols even though it was the middle of the summer. Zelgadiss sweated a little. "Hmph, who said you had the permission to come join us?"
