These lunar images were captured at prime focus of a Takahashi FS128 f8 on a Software Bisque GT-1100 mount using an Astrovid 2000.  Images were recorded on a Sony GVD 900E video walkman,  then captured to a Sony laptop  with an I-Link frame grabber.  PhotoShop was used for cropping, some sharpening and brightness/contrast adjustment.

Same image with brightness/contrast compressed in Photoshop.   Bright region around the Trapezium suggest that some nebulosity is being recorded.

Saturn and Jupiter imaged at prime focus with an Astrovid 2000 on a 10" LX200.  Seeing locally was better than average, but the Saturn image was dogged by dew on the corrector plate.  Video was recorded to a Sony GVD 900 Video Walkman.   Individual frames were captured as JPEGs to computer using a Neotech card.  Some brightness adjustment in Photoshop.

The solar eclipse images were captured in Bucharest using a JVC TK1381 color video camera with a 150-500mm telephoto lens (35mm format) using a C-mount adapter.  Video was recorded on to a Sony GVD 900 Video Walkman.   Individual frames were captured as JPEGs to computer using a Neotech card.  Some brightness adjustment in Photoshop.

To capture different regions of the corona the lens aperture was varied.  Some cloudiness is apparent in the wider aperture settings.

First lunar images with Astrovid 2000 and 10" LX200.  Video to Sony DV and captured with Neotech card.  Some brightness and contrast adjustment and use of unsharp masking.

The shot of the moon - taken with a 150 - 500mm Tokina zoom lens (35mm format), hooked up to an astrovid 2000 camera.  Image recorded onto  a Sony GVD 900 video walkman.  The image was digitized using a Neotech card which I had access to, some slight adjustments in Photoshop including, video deinterlace, unsharp mask, brightness and contrast.

The full solar disc was also captured in the same manner as the lunar image, but using a thousand oaks solar filter, and a JVC 1070 camera using YC.  The image was digitized using a Neotech card, again slight adjustment in Photoshop including, video deinterlace, unsharp mask, brightness and contrast.
