Albuquerque, New Mexico Tarkus01@att.net http://home.att.net/~tarkus01/space.html All my current video images are taken afocally with a tripod-mounted Sony Hi-8 Handycam using Metal Evaporated Tape. Steadyshot is turned off. I manually adjust the exposure and zoom to achieve the largest image with the least noise. Typically the zoom magnification is about 6x. Either an ETX-90 or a 8-inch f/6 Meade Starfinder Equatorial is used typically with an 18mm Ortho eyepiece. Video and stills are captured using the ATI All-in-wonder card. |

| The Saturn occultation images were taken afocally
with the ETX-90 and 18mm Orthoscopic eyepiece. The image of Saturn
by itself was captured as an AVI--about 2 seconds' worth--and stacked amd
processed using Astrostack. I used Paint Shop Pro for a little more
sharpening.

| The Mars images were taken through an 8-inch f/6 Meade Starfinder Equatorial, with the 18mm ortho eyepiece. About 20 images were stacked and processed using Astrostack. Some histogram/levels adjustments were made using Paint Shop Pro 7. |
