Circle in a Rectangle Frame

For this Tutorial you will need PSP6 and the Texturizer Filter.
You will also need the Inner Bevel Preset which is
here
Just unzip it to your PSP6 Presets Folder.

Open your graphic and resize if necessary.  Click on your selection tool and in tool options select circle.   Make a Circle Selection in your graphic, should look something like below.

Go to Edit, Copy.

Open a new Image 400x400 or large enough for your circle graphic plus plenty of room to work. Edit paste as new layer.  Move the cirle up a bit so you'll have room for the rectangle selection we'll be making in a bit.   Select your Magic Wand and Click in the background area of your graphic.  Now go to Selections, Invert.

Go to Image, Effects, Inner Bevel.  Where it says Presets, select Picture Frame then say ok.   Go to Selections, Modify, Expand and put in a 10, say ok.  Add a layer and move it under layer 2.  Layer Palette should now look like below.

Flood fill layer 3 with a color from the graphic.

Then go to Image, Plugins, Filters and find the Texturizer filter.  I used Sandstone with the default settings.

Add a new layer and move it under Layer 3.  Go to selections modify, Expand and use 10 again, say ok.  Fill with a pattern of your choice.  In my case I made a 50 x 50 selection from the graphic then went to Selections, Convert to Seamless and used to flood fill layer 4.   Go to Image, Effects, Inner Bevel.  This time choose Frame Preset then say ok.   Add a Layer and move it below Layer 4.

Click on your Shapes tool and in Tool Options select, Rounded Rectangle, Stroked, Line Width 10, Antialias check, Create as Vector unchecked.  Make a selection as below.

Click on the new shape with the Magic wand so you have the ants running around it as below.

Flood fill this selection with the same pattern as before.  Then go to Image, Effects Inner Bevel and use the same settings as before.  You should now have something like below.

Add a Layer.   Click on the Shapes Tool again, using the same settings except change the Width to 15 and made another selection evenly as below.

Since it's on it's own layer you can move it around if need to look even.

Click on the new frame with the Magic Wand.  Flood fill with the same pattern as before.  Then go to Image, Effects, Inner Bevel, use same settings as before.

Go to Layers, Merge Visible.  Go to Selections, Select none.  Go to Edit, Copy then Edit Paste as new Image.  Close the original we'll work on the copy.

Mine was too big so I resized it to 300 in height.  Go to Edit, Copy again.

Open a new graphic 1024 x 300 high (or the height of your graphic).  Flood Fill with the same color from your graphic as before.  Then use the Texturizer filter same as before.

Now go to edit, Paste as new selection or layer and line it up on the left.

Merge Layers, Flatten.

Sign and Save.
