Muted Seamless Background 1
To make a Muted Seamless
Background such as the one on this page you will
need PSP6 and the new version of 2020 available here
Open the graphic you
want to use and resize if necessary. I resized this one to
300 in height. After resizing go to Image, Sharpen, Sharpen.
Go to Edit, Copy
Open 2020 and go to Edit,
Paste as New Image. Click on the Image tab. Click on
Tile Effect, then click on Muted Background. Move the Opacity
Slider to
about 50 % then click on Apply.
To use as a Web Page
background like this one go to File, Save as and
save as a .jpg to wherever you want.
To use as stationery background go to Edit, Copy.
Back in PSP go to Edit,
Paste as New Image. Open a new graphic
1024 x 300 or height of your graphic and flood fill with your
muted
seamless image.
