Blur: Live 1992:

Live at Luxor, Koln, Germany, February 18, 1992

Sound: Very good soundboard

Time: Approx. 1 Hour

Set List:

Popscene, Slow Down, Won't Do It, Bang, Colin Zeal, Oily Water, She's So High, Never Clever, Pressure On Julian, Come Together, There's No Other Way, I'm All Over, High Cool, Day Upon Day

Comments: What a GREAT early 1992 show from Blur. The sound is just nasty enough to give a real sweaty atmosphere, but it's sounds crisp. The playing is incredibly high energy and the song selection includes songs from the unreleased (then) second album and rarer songs that ended up disappearing. Pressure On Julian has the nastiest feedback/noise frenzy in the middle, and it's blistering. One song after another pounds out. Already a favorite of mine!

Live at the Arena, Sheffield University, Sheffield, England, March 28, 1992

Sound: Excellent soundboard

Time: Approx. 20 Minutes

Set List:

Come Together, Popscene, She's So High, There's No Other Way

Comments: This is a short segment from a great 1992 Blur show in excellent soundboard. This was part of their Rollercoaster tour, a tour package that swept across England in 1992 with some now forgotten bands, in addition to Blur. Great energetic performances and versions.

Live at the 1st Avenue Club, Minneapolis, Minnesota, May 4, 1992

Sound: Very good soundboard

Time: Approx. 45 Minutes

Set List:

Bang, Slow Down, Won't Do It, Come Together, Badgeman Brown (intro chords), Colin Zeal, Fool, Oily Water, Never Clever, There's No Other Way, Pressure on Julian, She's So High

Comments: This show was recorded for broadcast on a local radio station, and it's really good. Earlier Blur shows are hard to find, and the energy and recklessness with which they once played is captured here, although they already were maturing towards great things. Won't Do It sounds really tough on stage, and Graham plays a few chords of Badgeman Brown before Colin Zeal. The 3 songs that later appeared on MLIR sound slightly different, but really good....Oily Water is excellent, including the siren they always added at the end in the early versions.

Live at Glastonbury Festival, England, June 28, 1992

Sound: Very good soundboard

Time: Approx. 1 Hour

Set List:

Headist, Never Clever, She's So High, Oily Water, Colin Zeal, Luminous, Sunday Sunday, Pressure on Julian, There's No Other Way, Coping, Day Upon Day

Comments: Now THIS is a killer show....totally full of energy and excitement. Some older originals that never were released were performed, including Headist and Never Clever. All of the songs from Modern Life is Rubbish are new to the crowd, as the album would not be released for another year! The sound is great too, brutal.....killer gig.

Live 1992

Sound: Excellent soundboard

Time: Approx. 9 Minutes

Set List:

She's So High, Popscene

Comments: Two very good songs from a live date of which I have yet to get information on. When I do, this will be updated. These are two very good performances of their first single and newest single (at the time).
