Sound: Very good audience
Time: Approx. 70 Minutes
Set List:
Intermission, Popscene, Come Together, Colin Zeal, She's So High, Sunday Sunday, Oily Water, Commercial Break, There's No Other Way, Parklife, Chemical World, Coping, For Tomorrow, Advert
Comments: This is a very good Blur show supporting their second album, Modern Life is Rubbish. Colin Zeal especially sounds awesome...Alex's bass is incredible. The playing is solid all the way through, although Chemical World disintegrates due to equipment problems. A new song, Parklife, is played here and is well received. A great For Tomorrow is a highlight of this show in front of a fairly boisterous German crowd.
Live at Loppen, Copenhagen, Denmark, October 31, 1993
Sound: Excellent soundboard
Time: Approx. 75 Minutes
Set List:
Intermission, Popscene, Colin Zeal, Sunday Sunday, She's So High, Girls and Boys, Bank Holiday, Pressure on Julian, Commercial Break, There's No Other Way, Chemical World, Coping, Daisy Bell, Parklife, For Tomorrow, Advert
Comments: First off, this show has possibly THE BEST sound ever....amazing soundboard quality! The playing is also among the best I have heard. The bulk of the set is from Modern Life is Rubbish and it's great! Colin Zeal ahs some amazing guitar work, and Pressure on Julian is rarely, if ever performed, and sounds great. There are also early versions of 3 Parklife songs, including the title track, Girls and Boys and Bank Holiday. All sound somewhat different lyrically, but very exciting and fit well. For Tomorrow is, as always, a high point of this great show from the Sugary Tea Tour!
