Comments: A killer show! Robert's voice is in great shape and the band tear through the set, and include what is probably the first ever performance of Since I've Been Loving You, with different lyrics and a different arrangement but still exciting. The encores destroy the crowd after the gutsy How Many More Times. A rare show and a great one.

Sound: Very good soundboard
Time: Approx. 55 Minutes
Set List:
Whole Lotta Love, Communication Breakdown, C'mon Everybody, Something Else, Bring It On Home, How Many More Times
Comments: This is only the encore section of the show, but it is incredible! All of these songs are performed with an incredible amount of energy and intensity and the 25 minutes of How Many More Times must rank as one of the best. A heavy and rocking show. Suggested listening.

Set List:
We're Gonna Groove, I Can't Quit You, Dazed and Confused, Heartbreaker, White Summer/Black Mountain Side, Since I've Been Loving You, Organ Solo, Thank You, Moby Dick, How Many More Times, Whole Lotta Love
Comments: A really rare show, the first concert of the first European tour. And what a show it is! Robert's voice is simply wonderful and the entire band just cooks throughout the whole set. Dazed and Confused is really eerie and played well and the How Many More Times medley has some really obscure and great references thrown in. This show is HOT!

Sound: Very good audience
Time: Approx. 2 Hours

Dazed and Confused, Heartbreaker, White Summer/Black Mountain Side, Since I've Been Loving You, Organ Solo, Thank You, Moby Dick, How Many More Times, Whole Lotta Love, Communication Breakdown, C'mon Everybody, Something Else, Bring It On Home, Long Tall Sally
Comments: Another excellent early 1970 show......the concert is complete except for the first two songs missing from the tape, but those are not available anywhere. Jimmy's playing is out of this world on Dazed and Confused and Heartbreaker, but this show belongs to the rhythm section! Jones and Bonham are simply amazing throughout. A nice batch of encores after the great How Many More Times Medley, including two great Eddie Cochran songs.....a great show!
Live at Festhalle, Frankfurt, Germany, March 10, 1970
Sound: Very good audience
Time: Approx. 2 1/2 Hours
Set List:
We're Gonna Groove, I Can't Quit You, Dazed and Confused, Heartbreaker, White Summer/Black Mountain Side, Since I've Been Loving You, Organ Solo, Thank You, What Is and What Should Never Be, Moby Dick, How Many More Times, Whole Lotta Love
Comments: Another one of the really good shows from the 1970 European tour. Robert's voice is amazing as always in 1970 and the band plays some really intense music. Jimmy's quiet riff intro to Heartbreaker before leading the band in full force is quite dramatic and the not yet recorded Since I've Been Loving You is very passionate and intense. Dazed is very compact and played brilliantly, especially by Jimmy, whose playing is fast and fluid in front of the wall of rhythm created by Jones and Bonham. The How Many More Times medley is great and Robert leads the band through a pastiche of great oldies before closing the show with a great, 1970 pre-medley version of the sole encore Whole Lotta Love. There are some sluggish shows and some great shows from this tour...this is one of the latter!
Live at Musikhalle, Hamburg, Germany, March 11, 1970
Sound: Very good audience
Time: Approx. 2 Hours
Set List:
We're Gonna Groove, I Can't Quit You, Dazed and Confused, Heartbreaker, White Summer/Black Mountain Side, Since I've Been Loving You, Organ Solo, Thank You, Moby Dick, How Many More Times, Whole Lotta Love
Comments: A really good show in front of a light-hearted crowd. Robert's voice is very strong and Jimmy seems to be playing faster and better than he did even a month before. The How Many More Times medley is excellent and Robert really gets up there with his voice at the end. Very good show.
Live at the Montreaux Jazz Festival, Montreaux, Switzerland, March 14, 1970
Sound: Very good audience
Time: Approx. 70 Minutes
Set List:
We're Gonna Groove, I Can't Quit You, White Summer, Dazed and Confused, Heartbreaker, Since I've Been Loving You, Thank You, What is and What Should Never Be, How Many More Times
Comments: Talk about energy. The audience is rowdy and loud and the group feed off of this to offer a killer show, with some of the best playing ever, and surely the best live version of Heartbreaker ever played. The audience recording captures the energetic atmosphere perfectly.
Live at Pacific Coliseum, Vancouver, Canada, March 21, 1970
Sound: Excellent soundboard
Time: Approx. 45 Minutes
Set List:
We're Gonna Groove, Heartbreaker, Since I've Been Loving You, Organ Solo, Thank You, What Is and What Should Never Be, Whole Lotta Love, Communication Breakdown/Ramble On
Comments: This is all that is known to exist of this show, the first of the North American tour of 1970. A really "raw" performance, with Robert's voice immensely strong and the bass/guitar/drum interplay reaching exhilarating peaks like Heartbreaker and We're Gonna Groove. This is REALLY good...I hope the rest of it sees the light someday (if the rest even exists!)
Live at Denver Coliseum, Denver, Colorado, March 25, 1970
Sound: Good to very good audience
Time: Approx. 2 Hours
Set List:
We're Gonna Groove, I Can't Quit You, Dazed and Confused, Heartbreaker, Since I've Been Loving You, Organ Solo, Thank You, Moby Dick, How Many More Times, Whole Lotta Love
Comments: A really explosive and energetic show...Robert's voice is excellent and the band plays with guts! Slow and steady is the pace, although the faster numbers have the band taking full flight, led by the amazing guitar of Jimmy Page. The medley is killer and a really psychedelic version of Whole Lotta Love ends the show. Heartbreaker and Dazed and Confused have sections that are ahead of their time....they wouldn't be regular additions for another year or so!
Live at the Forum, Inglewood, California, March 27, 1970
Sound: Very good audience
Time: Approx. 2 Hours
Set List:
We're Gonna Groove, Dazed and Confused, Heartbreaker, Bring It On Home, White Summer/Black Mountain Side, Since I've Been Loving You, Organ Solo, Thank You, What Is and What Should Never Be, Moby Dick, How Many More Times, Whole Lotta Love, Communication Breakdown
Comments: This is one of the greatest shows ever! Right from the start this show is special. The band is ON and Robert's voice is perfect, controlled and his entire range is used, resulting in one of his finest recorded vocal performances! Heartbreaker features some wonderful playing form Jimmy in his solo in the middle and, after a wild How Many More Times, the Whole Lotta Love encore features a duel between Jimmy on the Theremin and JPJ on a heavily distorted organ....simply wild! Recommended!!!
Live at Memorial Auditorium, Dallas, Texas, March 28, 1970
Sound: Good to very good audience
Time: Approx. 90 Minutes
Set List:
We're Gonna Groove, Dazed and Confused, Heartbreaker, Bring It On Home, White Summer/Black Mountain Side, Since I've Been Loving You, Organ Solo, Thank You, What Is and What Should Never Be, Moby Dick
Comments: Just an average show...nothing special about it, although the playing is very good. Robert's voice seems a little creaky, but the band is in good health, playing fine versions of Dazed and Heartbreaker, and a very emotional version of Since I've Been Loving You. Moby Dick is very long and quite boring. This is a good show, very intimate atmosphere.
Live at Hofheniz Pavilion, University of Houston, Houston, Texas, March 29, 1970
Sound: Very good audience
Time: Approx. 30 Minutes
Set List:
White Summer/Black Mountain Side, How Many More Times
Comments: This is a very good clip from this show. White Summer/Black Mountain Side is a great virtuostic performance from Jimmy, and the medley has a great introduction before it really gets kick started. This medley is HOT.....where's the rest of the show!?
Live at Dorten Auditorium, Raleigh, North Carolina, April 7, 1970
Sound: Excellent audience
Time: Approx. 90 Minutes
Set List:
We're Gonna Groove, Dazed and Confused, Heartbreaker, Bring It On Home, White Summer/Black Mountain Side, Since I've Been Loving You, Organ Solo, Thank You, What Is and What Should Never Be, Moby Dick
Comments: An excellent show captured in an exquisite sounding recording. Bring It On Home is probably the best version ever and We're Gonna Groove is certainly the funkiest version I have ever heard! The band and Robert are simply outstanding and this is my all time favorite version of Moby Dick. Where's the rest?!
Live at Curtis Hickson Hall, Tampa, Florida, April 9, 1970
Sound: Very good audience
Time: Approx. 90 Minutes
Set List:
Bring It On Home, White Summer/Black Mountain Side, Since I've Been Loving You, Organ Solo, Thank You, What Is and What Should Never Be, Moby Dick, How Many More Times, Whole Lotta Love
Comments: A great, energetic and very intense show. White Summer has some bars from Bron-Y-Aur and the performance of it by Jimmy and the drumming by Bonham is just exceptional. Since I've Been Loving You is one of the pre-record intense versions and a spaced out and blistering Whole Lotta Love follows the amazing medley. Robert's voice is great and the band blows everything out. Listen as Robert makes crowd announcement near the beginning.... funny! Perhaps the rest of this show will come out soon as this is al that is known to exist.
Live at Civic Center, Ottawa, Canada, April 14, 1970
Sound: Excellent audience
Time: Approx. 1 Hour
Set List:
Heartbreaker, Bring It On Home, White Summer/Black Mountain Side, Since I've Been Loving You, Organ Solo, Thank You, Dazed and Confused, Whole Lotta Love
Comments: All that remains from this excellent, Page dominated show. Robert's voice is crystal clear and the band is slick and fluid, especially Page who pushes it all to the limits, especially in a frenzied Heartbreaker compete with the 1970 Theremin introduction. Where's the rest?!
Live at Mid-South Coliseum, Memphis, Tennessee, April 17, 1970
Sound: Very good audience
Time: Approx. 2 Hours
Set List:
We're Gonna Groove, Dazed and Confused, Heartbreaker, Bring It On Home, White Summer/Black Mountain Side/Kashmir, Since I've Been Loving You, Organ Solo, Thank You, What is and What Should Never Be, Moby Dick, How Many More Times/Ramble On, Whole Lotta Love
Comments: A really spectacular show...the entire band is on fire and Robert's voice is amazing! From the opening blasts, the band is out to crush the crowd, and they certainly do! The bass/drum/guitar interplay is unreal and Page plays some breathtaking figures in Heartbreaker, which also has a spaced-out intro and finale where Page makes the Theremin sound like a scratched record.....it's too much! Jimmy plays a riff in Black Mountain Side that will later be developed into Kashmir...5 years later! The jams are amazing, and this tape features the bootlegger himself introducing and closing the tape with comments about the show.....spectacular! Recommended!
Julie Felix Show, BBC Studios, London, England, April 28, 1970
Sound: Excellent soundboard
Time: Approx. 8 Minutes
Set List: White Summer/Black Mountain Side
Comments: Jimmy alone on TV playing White Summer on an acoustic guitar....a virtuoso performance and really rare and a treat!
Live at Bath Festival, Shepton Mallet, Bath, England, June 28, 1970
Sound: Fair to Good audience
Time: Approx. 2 1/2 Hours
Set List:
Immigrant Song, Heartbreaker, Dazed and Confused, Bring It On Home, Since I've Been Loving You, Organ Solo, Thank You, The Boy Next Door (That's the Way), What Is and What Should Never Be, Moby Dick, How Many More Times, Whole Lotta Love, Communication Breakdown, Rock Medley
Comments: The most legendary gig by Zeppelin ever certainly lives up to that, even in the average recording. Robert's voice is just amazing in its range and scope, and the band are blistering...Jones is on fire, Jimmy is incendiary and Bonham is thunderous. The band just played a perfect gig! There are a few previews: That's the Way (under it's working title), Immigrant Song, which was written 6 days before has a completely different vocal arrangement and a great jam at the end, and Since I've Been Loving You is played for the first time in the UK. Moby Dick is exceptional and the How Many More Times and Rock Medley are immensely powerful. RECOMMENDED higher than any other show!!
Live at Deutschlandhalle, Berlin, Germany, July 12, 1970
Sound: Very good audience
Time: Approx. 90 Minutes
Set List:
Immigrant Song, Heartbreaker, Dazed and Confused, Bring It On Home, Since I've Been Loving You, Thank You, What Is and What Should Never Be, Moby Dick, Whole Lotta Love
Comments: A really great show right after the Bath blowout. This show is like a sister to the Bath show but the atmosphere is very different. It is very intense and almost mysterious, and the band is ON. Dazed and Confused is a great version and Robert's vocals are simply perfect. He even achieves the album cut's high and wailing vocals in Since I've Been Loving You with extreme ease in this great version. Moby Dick is an awesome display and the medley is great. A striking show and a nice contrast to the mayhem of Bath.

Set List:
Immigrant Song, Heartbreaker, Dazed and Confused, Bring It On Home, Since I've Been Loving You, What Is and What Should Never Be, Moby Dick, Whole Lotta Love, Communication Breakdown/Good Times Bad Times
Comments: This is a MONSTROUS show, with Robert's voice reaching unbelievable heights, as well as the band being unstoppable. Listen to Dazed and the Whole Lotta Love medley...unreal stuff! Even Bonham's drum solo is thunderous and exciting. A GREAT show with awesome sound and atmosphere.
Live in Tulsa, Oklahoma, August 21, 1970
Sound: Very good audience
Time: Approx. 2 Hours
Set List:
Immigrant Song, Heartbreaker, Dazed and Confused/White Summer, Bring It On Home, That's the Way, Bron-Yr-Aur, Since I've Been Loving You, Organ Solo, Thank You, What Is and What Should Never Be, Moby Dick, Whole Lotta Love, Communication Breakdown
Comments: A really great, virtuoso concert from the whole band! Lots of little surprises here, including a rare version of White Summer played by Jimmy at the end of Dazed and Confused! Immigrant song has some excellent war cries from Plant, but as usual in 1970 America, crowd troubles threaten the gig. In the middle of his solo in Heartbreaker, Jimmy tells Robert, "Can't go on" and Robert has to tell the crowd to sit down and shut up. One of the finest Led Zeppelin shows ever...recommended!
Live at Milwaukee, Wisconsin, August 31, 1970
Sound: Very good audience
Time: Approx. 1 Hour
Set List:
Immigrant Song, Heartbreaker, Dazed and Confused, Bring It On Home, That's the Way, Bron-Y-Aur, Since I've Been Loving You, White Summer/Black Mountain Side
Comments: This is one of those shows where right from the beginning it is evident the band is on top form. Robert's war cries in Immigrant Song are chilling and incredibly high and powerful. In fact, this is one of the best 1970 shows I have ever heard in terms of his voice and its power and range. The bane is incredible too, turning Heartbreaker, Dazed and Confused and Since I've Been Loving You into incredibly powerful, unique and excellent performances. The whole show, or what is contained here, is amazing, and leaves me wanting the rest!
Live at the Coliseum, Oakland, California, September 2, 1970
Sound: Very good audience
Time: Approx. 2 Hours

Comments: A really excellent show, with an unusual and exciting string of encores! The playing is amazing, and Robert, as on nearly every 1970 show, is in incredible voice, with a range that is unbelievable. The acoustic section is greeted with impatience which causes Plant to scold them, and rightfully so...it sounds great! An explosive start to the West Coast blitz of the 1970 tour!
Live at Sports Arena, San Diego, California, September 3, 1970
Sound: Very good audience

Set List:
Immigrant Song, Heartbreaker, Dazed and Confused, Bring It On Home, That's the Way, Since I've Been Loving You, Organ Solo, Thank You, What Is and What Should Never Be, Moby Dick, Whole Lotta Love, Communication Breakdown
Comments: Another excellent show from this string of dates in California! A rowdy crowd causes the group to abandon Bron-Y-Aur and they get right into Since I've Been Loving You. The playing at this concert, as in all during this run, is slick, exciting, and powerful! The closing medley is a long one full of obscure songs that sounds great, and a manic encore closes this show. Powerful stuff!
Live at the LA Forum, Inglewood, California, September 4, 1970
Sound: Excellent Audience
Time: Approx. 2 Hours

Comments: Exceptional! This show captures Zeppelin at their fun and most energetic best. A kicking show with a very Hendrix-inspired Dazed and Confused and the only known recording of Out on the Tiles live, as a rare encore, as well as the surprise Blueberry Hill encore! A fun and spontaneous show, this is a must have for any serious Zeppelin fan.

Sound: Excellent audience
Time: Approx. 80 Minutes
Set List:
Immigrant Song, Dazed and Confused, Heartbreaker, Since I've Been Loving You, What Is and What Should Never Be, Moby Dick, Whole Lotta Love, Communication Breakdown
Comments: A very complete first set that is dominated by the amazing voice of Robert Plant! The band plays exceptionally well but Robert blows everything off the stage with his amazing voice! Jones leads the group right into Dazed and Confused after Immigrant Song, causing a spontaneous change in the set list. Heartbreaker is awesome and the Whole Lotta Love Medley is great. This is a much better show than the one 2 nights before, with guts, power, and shorter, more focused versions of the songs.
Live at Boston Garden, Boston, Massachusetts, September 9, 1970
Sound: Excellent audience
Time: Approx. 2 Hours
Set List:
Immigrant Song, Heartbreaker, Dazed and Confused, Bring It On Home, That's the Way, Bron-Y-Aur, Since I've Been Loving You, Organ Solo, Thank You, What Is and What Should Never Be, Moby Dick, Whole Lotta Love, Communication Breakdown
Comments: An amazing show in front of another out of control crowd! Robert's voice is simply amazing, hitting some of the highest screams and wails ever to really pack an emotional wallop to Since I've been Loving You. He sings higher and stronger than on some of the album versions! Jimmy plays some great guitar and Jones and Bonham are unstoppable! A great medley and a totally fast, thrashing Communication Breakdown close the show.
