House of Cats Awards 3--Pagan Lightbearer Award Music: Hope Has A Place

House of Cast Awards 3 header

"HELPED are those whose every act is a prayer for
harmony in the Universe, for they are the restorers of balance
to our planet. To them will be given the insight that every good
act done somewhere in the cosmos welcomes the life
of an animal or a child.

BUBASTIS: Welcome to the House of Cats offers several awards. This one, however, is reserved solely for Pagan and Wiccan webcrafting excellence.
The Pagan Lightbearer Award was inspired by the work of people whose chosen mission is to dispel the dark and often hateful misconceptions about our religion.

This award is for sites not only representing excellence in HTML and graphic design, but most importantly those serving as a reservoir of information about Paganism and Wicca. These sites teach, but never proselytize. They dispel the insidious myths history and the media have painted, and create an opportunity for enlightenment for all who visit. They are the leaders who bear the torch ahead of us on the path, assuring no one stumbles upon the ignorance looming out of the darkness.

Pagan Lightbearer Award

This is a very special award, and not easily won. Only submissions from exceptionally done Pagan and/or Wiccan educational sites will be considered. As with our other awards, the criterion for qualification is strict.
Things that will make a site NOT eligible include:
1) if it is dark, negative, or satanic in nature,
2) contains any foul, suggestive, or insulting language,
3) degrades or pokes fun at other religious beliefs,
4) lacks any meaningful substance, or message,
5) contains more than one broken link,
6) is an "all about me" page,
7) contains only links or is composed mostly of links,
8) has bad or poorly done midis,
9) or, is filled with "Under Construction" graphics.

If ANY of these apply to your site, this award is not for you.
A reciprocal link to our main page is required.
Please take a few moments to visit our winners. Examine their sites and see if your work is in their league. If your Pagan or Wiccan educational site fits these standards, in an email send the following information:
Site URL, Site title, Email address and name.

Include:

a few paragraphs describing your site, why you decided to create it and what sets it apart from the average Pagan web site.
Take a look at this example of the perfect submission letter from one of our winners.
And remember:
When you drop a line to us here at The House of Cats, make sure you include Pagan Lightbearer Award in the Subject Line.
