Pronunciation of original Tameran:
Mau Bast! Mau Bast! A Basti, per em setat, erta-na chu em asui neter sentra semu hena net'emmit, hetep ab em asui tau heqt.
Translation of the prayer into English:
Hail Bast! Hail Bast! Hail Bast, coming forth from the secret place, may there be given to me splendor in the place of incense, herbs, and love-joys, peace of heart in the place of bread and beer.

Our prayer to Bast for Clyde Big Paws:
Inspired by the prayers of D.J. Conway
Joy comes from you Bast, the Lady of Cats.
The Goddess loves and protects all animals.
As a daughter of Bast, I call upon her
To pour out her blessings and protection
Upon our beloved one, Clyde Big Paws.
He is, by the Lady's power, now strong
And he is now healthy!
He is the joyous child of a loving,
All-powerful Mother, who is helping him now.
Blessed Be!

Dark Mother, vengeful spirit,
punisher of those who are vile, hear my plea:
There is evil in the criminals who stole the
souls of Bast's sacred ones at Noah's Ark Animal Foundation.
The evil is murder, torture and unthinking cruelty.
I beg you beloved Sekhmet.
Bring the just reward for their vile acts.
Drag them down by their own mistakes and evil.
Bring them down, stop their evil, avenge the innocents
who are their victims.
Bring justice to those who would harm the blessed Children of Bast!
Sekhmet, strong and dark, keep my spell powerful,
keep my spell right.
Blessed Be!
It is done.
