This month's simply marvelous background is a 90's retro on those old nubbly sofas so popular around WWII. My great-grandmother had one...it wasn't red and green of course, but a charmingly hideous dirt brown. Oh my.

* D/W is a Navy acronym for "Dependent Wife." So all you smart guys out there who thought it meant "Dead Weight". . .50 lashes with a wet Russell Crowe for you!
** This is an inside joke based on an obscure DUNE reference. It's along the lines of, 'had-to-have-been-there.'
