THE DAILY WORD
From a woman who has the Wisdom of both the aged and the Wisdom of the youth.
In these last days, the Wisdom was to be taken from the aged and given to the youths because the aged were not doing anything with it, but she has been given both which makes her rare indeed.
Her Writings will show an accomplishment of this Wisdom that was given because she earnestly sought it out, suffered for it and prayed for it which are the three conditions of receiving it.
Her name is Betty, and she is a Servant and a child of The Most High God.
She is also our Prayer Warrior.
THE EYE OPENED
The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light; they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. Isaiah 9:2
The carnal eye will always be just that. It can only see when the light is shinning. On the other hand there is a light that illuminates the entire universe both day and night. The carnal eye cannot visualize this. To know God is when the Eye and EAR are opened. Those who have walked in darkness have seen a great light. When you've experienced suffering, hardships, humility, poverty and all of the things man see as suffering, yes it is upon them the word says hath the light shinned. When you are broken in mind, body and spirit, then the only alternative is to look for a miracle. There is only one who fits the bill, Jesus!
He wants above all things that we prosper even as our souls prosper. The soul is what Jesus wants and if our souls are not prospering, then there is no need for supernatural light. Our bodies are as the grass in the fields the word says it will soon wither and fade away, but a soul will live forever. I'd rather my soul live in eternity with my Lord, than be in everlasting torment. Without God in our lives, we are already in torment. We can't see it because we are blind, deaf, poor, hungry and naked.
When all we see is our belongings allowed by the creator, our money and all the things that are temporal, then it's impossible to obtain true sight. We will not allow ourselves to hear for fear of what Satan tells us. Society calls it ludicrous. Everything God intended good for man was taken in the Garden of Eden when Satan enticed Eve with a piece of fruit. Now that fruit looked good just as our homes, cars, children, money etc. We don't believe we can do without. When it's taken, we find we can live without. We say people are dying and going to hell. I believe most of them are in the churches. How can I judge? By the word of God. I've seen drug addicts share a needle, knowing it will eventually kill them. Yet they take the risks. I've seen Christians beg for bread and they are given stones. Advice of where to go and become more humiliated. There are churches full in the tens of thousands of people who claim they are reaching a lost and dying world for Jesus. How can we possibly believe we can save? We want so much to help God, yet we are constantly in His way trying to do what only He can do. He says"If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, turn from their wicked ways; seek my face and pray, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sins and heal their lands." Our job as vessels or instruments are for God's purpose. Isaiah 10:15 is an illustration of sound doctrine. "Shall the axe boast itself against him that heweth therewith? or shall the saw magnify itself against him that shaketh it? as if the rod should shake itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself, as if it were no wood." Can we understand this. Suppose you went to use any tool, utensil or instrument that you owned. And when you went to get it there it was doing something completely out of the ordinary. Or boasting of itself. What would you think or do? It is the same with God who created us. We were made by God for God to use in mighty and wonderful ways. This is what Satan does not want you to see. He wants you to see the beautiful fruit dangling before your natural eyes. He makes the senses tingle for taste. These lusts only satisfy the body. But we must taste and see that the Lord is good. His mercies endure forever. The word is food for our souls that we will never hunger or thirst again. It is the living water that God wants to give which springs up forever flowing. When you are filled with this food and being fed in the valley where there is rich soil, moisture and tender loving care and warm sunshine, how can you not flourish? We tend our gardens. Let God Tend our souls. He can enlighten you. He wants to impart and manifest and magnify in each of us life. A new life. He wants to open the eye, and ear of His children. There is a straight and narrow road that leads to Him. Very few find it. If you find you are on a crowded road, trust the word; you are on the wrong road. My hope and prayer is that you follow the cross.
