El Torneo Superior por Equipos de FAOGBA se puso caliente tras disputarse la 4ta ronda. Luego del triunfo de La Matanza (AJELAM) ante el puntero hasta la 3er ronda, la Sociedad Italiana de Merlo por 2,5 a 1,5 y el triunfo de la Escuela Grau de Morón por 4 a 0 al representativo de la escuela P4R de Gonzales Catan, 3 son los punteros con 10.5 puntos.
En el primer match Pablo Penalba de Matanza cayó ante Pablo Barrionuevo de Merlo, Carlos Gomez se impuso a Manuel Larsen, Pablo Gerola dividió el punto con Daniel Santaolalla y por último Ricardo Jacinto le ganó a Marcelo De Picciotto.En el match Grau vs P4R se destaca el triunfo del Gran Maestro Pablo Lafuente ante Emiliano Cuberli y el de Franco Carrizo ante Mauricio Benitez. Cabe destacar que los 3 punteros ya se enfretaron entre sí.
En otro match el Círculo de Moreno empató 2 a 2 ante el equipo de Caseros el CAM3. Restaba disputarse el encuentro entre El Retiro de Hurlingham y 4 Caballos de Rafael Castillo
