My father was Robert Franklin Eddins b 21 June 1909 in Lilesville, Anson County, North Carolina d 6 April 1991 in Wilmington, North Carolina. His parents were John Franklin Eddins and Sarah Ellen Eddins (1st cousins), John Franklin's mother was Sarah Ellen Eddins. She married Patrick Boggan when John Franklin was 4 years old. His father is unknown. John Franklin's wife Sarah Ellen was the daughter of Joseph Robert Eddins (brother of Sarah Ellen Eddins Boggan) and Sarah Ellen Campbell. Joseph Robert and his sister Sarah Ellen were the children of John Eddins and Mary Martin. They had several other siblings including Riley, Jackson and William. ANY information on this line is appreciated. I have Jackson's family fairly well documented on him and his wife Harriett Elizabeth and their children but have not pursued this one further. I have a picture of Riley Eddins and know his birth was suppose to be 1842. IF anyone has a death certificate on Joseph Robert I need it, he d 14 Jan 1930. I have searched in North and South Carolina records but have not found it. Rumor has it he was buried in the Eddin(g)s Cemetery in Chesterfield, I have not found his grave.
