RULES
Okay, here's how it works: you read
the story, make your choices, and follow the appropriate links. If you
reach a page that says that the next episode of the story has yet to be
created, you have the option of emailing me with the next episode. Please
include two to ten choices with your episode, so that others may continue
the story. :) While not all episodes will be selected for the page (I will
be checking for content, feasibility, and appropriateness), if you are
the first to email me with that episode, chances are it will be put up.
Please expect a comment or two from me, however, if a certain bit or piece
does not fit and please don't be angry if your episode does not get posted.
There is always next time!
Other than that, just make sure you stick to some basic rules with your posts. That is:
*no profanity, vulgar, language, adult issues, etc. This is Ponyland, remember? :)
*no cross-overs, guns, **obscure** plot twists, etc. Try to picture your episode as part of an actual MLP television or movie plotline. If it would never happen to the real MLPs, don't do it!
*Please use real MLP characters only! (no made up ponies, but other made up characters are fine)
*Keep posts between 50 and 500 words, please. :)
*No killing of characters! Period. MLP always found creative ways to solve problems without outright violence.
There. :) All common sense stuff, right?
There is, however, one final thing that is very important to note. As you may have already discovered, each of the stories on the front page is denoted either "a tradition MLP story", a "middle MLP story", or "anything goes!". The first story is for pre-Paradise Estate stories only! Majesty rules from Dream Castle in this timeline and the current pony population consists of Firefly, Glory, Applejack and their like. Please do not introduce any ponies or characters that would not be appropriate to an early-MLP storyline.
"Middle MLP story" denotes any story in the post-Smooze era of Ponyland. (the Grundles live in Dream Castle, Flutter Valley has been discovered, etc.) Wind Whistler, Fizzy, and Sweet Stuff would all be appropriate characters for a story in "Middle MLP", though if you can justify a visit from an "oldtimer", I would certainly consider it! No 1998 Ponies will be allowed, however.
"Anything Goes" is a sort of parallel storyline to any of the TV shows or movies ever aired. All MLPs (regardless of era) exist in a sort of mish-mash Ponyland where none of the movies or TV shows ever really happened and all of the ponies live in both Dream Castle and Paradise Estates. 1998 Ponies are allowed here, of course, as well as grown-up Megans and Mollys, or whomever else you'd like to exploit. :)
Lastly, I would like to note that My Little Pony is a trademark of Hasbro, and we here at the Adventure Page by no means wish to infringe upon their rights! This page is all in good fun, after all, and free to all who wish to use it.
