Little Pattie - He's my Blonde Headed Stompie Wompie Real Gone Surfer Boy

What the CD-booklet says:
Patricia Amphlett may have been perceived as a novelty act, but she possessed a fine pop voice and recorded a string of quality singles and albums throughout the 60s. A Sydney schoolgirl, age 14, she became the vehicle for clever surf-era songs penned by singer Jay Justin and producer Joe Halford. Blonde, cute and very canny for her age, she became an immediate media star upon the release of "He's my Blonde etc. etc.".
Patricia still records and performs, and is very involved with many aspects of the entertainment industry.
What I think of this song:
This is a very strange song indeed. It starts like an ordinary surfing song in true Beach Boys style, but soon changes into a novelty-hit that amuses a bit first, but soon only irritates. Little Pattie sounds just too happy to be real. All this "su-u-u-urf" and trying to give her young-girl's voice rough edges are just too much for normal human beings to endure...
