Welcome to the Letters Page,
everybody! Hope you enjoyed the latest issue of Pure Excitement Comics! Let's
take a look at the letters I received after the last issue:
Hi Bill: Just when I think
PFE cannot get any better, you expand your horizons and post a couple of looney tales
long forgotten!! Thanks for rescuing the lost treasures of Gooperman and Nickie Norton!!
Can I suggest that you go for a theme of masked western heroes or magicians next time out?
I'd like you to know that even if we don't all send you an email each month, you can tell
by the number of hits you get that we love your work.
The best to you each morning,
John Hegenberger
Thanks for another great letter, John!
I'm really glad you enjoyed last month's look at a whackier side of the Golden Age. Your
suggestions are great ones...I'll at least try to incorporate Western heroes or magicians
into a future issue, if not as complete "theme" issues.
I have been an avid follower of
your "Pure Excitement Comics" web site for a few months now. I have added a link to it
on my own humble web site: The Spirit,
which I hope is acceptable with you.
Best Wishes
Wes
Wes, I appreciate every new link
I can get. I've actually noticed a bit of an increase in traffic to my site since you
added the link, so it's got to be working! I've added a link to your site in my links
column to the left, as well. Thanks, again!
JUST GREAT!!
Loved it, gave me a few hours of great enjoyment.
I'll stop in monthly!
Gordon Green
I'm glad to see my fellow
comic book fans are enjoying my website as much I am enjoying producing it!
That's it for the letters
from the last month! See you next month, when I plan to feature three
more great "lost" heroes!

In the gallery this month is the cover of Master Comics No. 85 featuring
Elvis' favorite superhero -- Capt. Marvel Jr. Also making an appearance on the cover
is another, but lesser known, Fawcett character -- Radar.
