Did Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaievna Romanova survive the execution?

Many people have through the years claimed to be the youngest daughter of czar Nichols II and empress Alexandra, all of them was more or less obvious impostors. But there was, however, one woman who could not be quietly dismissed: she could answer most questions about the private lives of the Romanovs with an intimacy that could only be displayed by someone who had "been there", that was Anna Anderson.

Anastasia was named after a Montenegrin Princess, the name means: " She who will rise again", strange, isn't it? Well I believe in the official story, that Anastasia died with her family in Jekatrinburg in 1918. Evan though I can not help that I'm very fascinated in the story about Anna Anderson (what a sad story if she was telling the truth…). The link underneath this text goes to "HIH Grand Duchess Anastasia Historical Society" the purpose of that site, it is to advance the theory that Anna Anderson Manahan was indeed the youngest daughter of Czar Nicholas II. This story is quit good, it makes you want to believe it, so be critical.

The fact is that when a DNA analysis was made on Anna Anderson and compared with the bodies found in Jekatrinburg, the result was negative. It didn't match. And the scientists that exhumed the Romanov family's remains, was convinced that it was Marie that were missing and not Anastasia. The Russian government had no problem with that and on the funeral of the last czar and his family in St. Peter & Paul Cathedral one of the coffins wear a sign with the name: Anastasia.
