Since the world got the news about the last imperial family's death in 1918, there have been people who have claimed to be a surviving member of the family. There have also been those who claims that they have seen a family member, after their official death in July 1918. Czar Nicholas II was seen in London, 1920, another story, told by one of the pope's bodyguards, said that Nicholas was a refugee in the Vatican under the protection of His Holiness the Pope. But one of the most famous is the story about Anna Anderson, who claimed to bee the missing Grand duchess Anastasia.
When the grave was opened in Jekatrineburg, the scientists conclude that to bodies were missing, Alexis and one of his sisters, Anastasia or Marie's. Finally it was Marie's body that were missing and not the one of Anastasia, but it would be more convenient for the Russian government this way, wouldn't it?
On July 16, 1918, the last Czar of Russia and his family were executed by the Bolsheviks during the Russian Revolution. While news and police reports said that the entire family had been killed, rumours persisted that the youngest daughter and son, Anastasia and Alexis, had been saved.
But this two missing bodies could easily been burned or buried somewhere else, to confuse people who was searching for the Romanovs. This is probably one of those mysteries that never will be known. I'm an opened mined person, but I believe that the whole family was murdered, sad but true, but I'm certainly not sure, no one can, so I let everyone decide for them self, what they believe.
I want to make it quite clear that I haven't written the Stories of Anna Anderson and Heino Tammet. I've only written a conclusion and my opinion about how accurate I think the stories are, everyone have the right to another opinion!
