Cuxton is a small village in the Medway Valley Kent situated between West Malling and Stood.
The name Cuxton is thought to derive from the name of a Saxon man called Cucola who was the local chief and the boundary stone was named after him, hence Cucola's Stone, the modern name, Cuxton.
Today Cuxton is a part of the Unitary Authority, Medway with approx 1000 dwellings and 3000 persons.
