Main artillery: Four 10,5 cm. K.331(f)
Two 8,8 cm. Flak(r)
Ready for battle: November 1943
A battery with no proper bunkers, apart from the 'leitstand', and more or less
temporary built positions. In addition to the main artillery, the battery got two
8,8 cm. Flak(r) for use as air defence and against British MTB's often visiting the area.
Eidmin was the third location of the battery. It had been moved around in the same area
a few times before it finally settled down. It was closed down straight after the war.
Today there is really not a lot to see. The 'leitstand' is in use as a shed, and the rest
of the objects are either overgrown or not intact due to the forces of nature.
Some fake positions are built up near the main battery.
Much of the site is on private land.
One of the temporary gunpositions before the final settlement for the battery.
The 'leitstand'.
A bunker of simple construction. I believe these bunkers were called "Falkenhorst-bunkers"
