I don't reside in Innsmouth -- never would.
But Arkham is not far away, you see.
It's there I live and work, curator of
The town's Historical Society.
Assisting folks with genealogy
Is just one way to help when they come in.
So I agreed, when Olmstead came to me,
To help him locate linkage to his kin.
But when I learned that he descended from
Eliza Orne, of Arkham, I grew pale.
I knew that he was cursed with tainted blood,
And all attempts to help the lad would fail.
