The following additional 7 species of Damselflies have not yet been reported from Kerr County, but have been reported from one of the immediate surrounding counties which share a county line with Kerr (Kendall, Gillespie, Kimble, Edwards, Real, Bandera), and could reasonably be expected to occur here. Since the first publication of this website, five species of this group has been added to the Kerr County list. The list includes Common Name, Scientific name (Counties where documented). All county record information here is derived from John C. Abbott's (2000) Odonata Central range maps and searchable database, to which i am much indebted and appreciative.
