Quick trip to find Piratic Flycatcher at Ft. Sumner, New Mexico. Best view was of Billy the Kid's grave, just down the road from Bosque Redondo Park where the bird was found. Stopped at a couple of places on the way home looking for odes and leps but the weather was conducive to neither. Brief spates of sunshine allowed me the chance to look in Yoakum and Pecos Counties.

As always i crave corrections and discussion on identifications i have made of any of these critters.
USGS = previously undocumented records according to the USGS website and John Abbott's Odonata Central. I am aware that the USGS site is behind and that Dr. Abbott is redesigning his site, but both remain the most accurate publicly available references i know, and thus their usage as a guide to places needing work and rough working documents for what needs confirming.
* = Photographed (sometimes poorly); pictures visible on my website at:
http://www.fortunecity.com/victorian/margaret/203/id72.htm
Included below is the usual list of the additional critters seen on the trip.
Many thanks to for identifications and confirmations.
