As if you'd asked... This seems stupid. Only with difficulty can I imagine that anyone would be interested in my personal data. However, so many people are doing it, I guess there must be a reason, so here I am:
Born: 10/11/50 Memphis, TN Childhood: bookworm, evolutionist since 9 yr. old, quit watching TV at 12 yr. of age--had visions of Tibetans, Atlantis, pixies, the Eternal Feminine, visions that people then would've called "hallucinations"...
Adolescence: bookworm, swimming team, weightlifter, peacenik, flower child, agnostic, involuntarily astral-projected numerous times, debated against Creationist teachings that were manadatory in Tennessee at the time, fan of Salvadore Dali and '60s rock etc...
Early Adulthood: Hippy, acidhead, radical political activist/Yipi acquainted with the feel of the nightstick on my skull for chanting to a tree-- yoga and meditation, Silva Mind Control, sensitivity/TA groups and other Human Potential happenings, pop festivals, free love practitioner, hitchhiker, psych major, land surveyor, Tarot and I Ching reader--lived in three different communes at different times-- involuntary astral projecting ceased after first acid trip-- Started watching TV again in 1978 while teaching English in Korea...
Middle Adulthood: Hippy, Rainbow Family, author of fiction and non-fiction which includes writing in the surreal vernacular as well as in regular English prose and poetry styles, teacher of English as a foreign language at Pusan Women's University in South Korea, backpacker, husband to my Korean wife and father to our 15 yr. old son, general psychiatric and addiction counselor, dimension-hopper, ex-pipe-fitter, still a Tarot and I Ching reader, member of Metaphysics Anonymous, coffeehouse regular, entheogen connoisseur, cactus gardener, monogamistic by practice if not by belief...
