Welcome to the End of Time.

    I am Gaspar, the Guru of Time.  I usually don't get many visitors around here, but lately, people have been popping up.  I'm afraid something may be effecting the very fabric of time ........ But I'm getting ahead of myself.  I wasn't always here, you know.  I used to live in the kingdom of Zeal, back when magic still existed.  I probably would still be there, but Queen Zeal had other plans.  The other two gurus, Melchior and Belthasar, had the same fate as I, being sent to another time.  But something, possibly the same thing that's been causing the disturbance in time, caused all this.  What year did you say you're from?  That's awfully close to the Day of Lavos, the day the world ended, for everything after that day was barren and desolate, and machines eliminated the human race....  Not to worry, though.  I've had glimpses of what's to come.  A boy named Crono is soon to find out what you know, and if he lives up to his full potential, the world just might have a chance.....  But this boy will have help.  On his journey he will make many friends, and each of them play a role in the adventure to save the world they know and love, whether the time is 65,000,000 B.C. or 600 A.D., Crono and his friends could be our only hope...

In 65,000,000  B.C., Crono will  meet Ayla, a strong fighter and chief of the Prehistoric Ioka village.   She needs no weapon or magic to defend herself.
 

In 600 A.D. is the great swordsman, Frog.  He wasn't always in the form of an amphibian, but the sorcerer, Magus, made him so.

In 1000 A.D, is our hero, Crono.  What started out as a trip to the millenial fair in Leene Square became a trip through time for him.

In 1000 A.D., Crono meets Marle, who quite a few people think looks familiar.   But no one ever guessed that she was really Princess Nadia!
 

Also in 1000 A.D., is Crono's best friend, Lucca, the inventor and genius. Because of her ability to make machines,she makes a valuable member on Crono's team.
In 2300 A.D. is the robot called Robo.  As a machine, he has great strength and will be an important figure in saving the world, even though he was created after the Day of Lavos.

    Sound like a pretty easy task?  It really won't be.  From what I've seen, there are a lot of villains and even more monsters to be fought.
 

In 65,000,000 B.C. lives the leader of the Reptites, Azala.

In 12,000 B.C. is  Queen Zeal and Dalton, who has the ability to command golems.

In 600 A.D. is Magus, the leader of the Mystics and his aids, Ozzie, Slash, and Flea.
 

    Besides these enemies lies a bigger threat, Lavos, who landed on Earth in 65,000,000 B.C., and was briefly summoned by the sorcerer, Magus, in 600 A.D.  He is the reason the world was destroyed, and unless Crono and his friends destroy him, all will be lost.

    There will be others who will be important factors.

Schala, one of the two heirs of Queen Zeal, has magical power that exceeds her mother's.  Thus, she is the only one able to control the Mammon Machine, a machine that amplifies the power of Lavos.

The Queen's other heir, Janus, is thought to have no magical power.  Though no one knows it, he has more magic than even Schala.  After he was drawn into a time portal that led to 600 A.D., he became better known as Magus.

Melchior, a Guru, is quite the expert at weapons.  His weapons and armor he sells will be very useful in the beginning of Crono's quest.

Belthasar, another Guru and a great inventor, built the Blackbird, and his ultimate creation, the Wings of Time.  His theory was "All life begins with nu, and ends with nu."

Crono and his friends have a big task, one that we can only hope will be completed.  You better be off now before you're missed.  But before you go, check behind that door.  But till Crono and his friends arrive, all we can do is wait...... and hope..........
