A page for awesome teens.

Ever wonder who you really are? What your purpose is here on earth? Do you feel like nobody cares about you? Well have I got news for you! God cares!

"How can He care about me? I am always in trouble. I don't feel like I belong or fit in at school or at home. Nobody likes me."

Not true! God loves all people everywhere. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

God loves everyone in the world: men, women, boys and girls. His love is genuine, true, pure, complete, committed and unconditional.

"What about all the bad things I have done?"

It's already taken care of! God gave His Son, Jesus Christ, to pay in full the penalty of the sins of humanity so that He could see us all forgiven, acceptable and holy in His sight (2 Cor 5:19, Col 1:21, 22).

You need to accept Jesus into your heart. Simply pray to accept Jesus as your savior and repent of your sins. Then agree with God that you are forgiven. It's a free gift!

It is then important to come under Jesus’ protection, by giving your life to Him (Romans 12:1), and to ask Jesus to baptize you in the Holy Spirit (Mark 1:8) so that you can live out His miraculous life in this world (Acts 1:8).

"Then what?"

Then you learn about, come to understand, and walk out your new identity (2 Cor 5:17; Eph 4:24).
When you accept Jesus as your personal savior, you are reborn. "Not of blood or the will of flesh or by man, but of God." (John 1:13)
"if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation." (2 Cor 5:17)

Take a look at how God describes you in your new identity.
God's righteousness (Romans 3:19-24) You are God's glory, worth and value. (1 Thess 2:12, John 17:22:23) You are perfect, holy and complete. (Heb 10:14, Heb 10:10, 12, Col 1:22, Col 2:9, 10) You have God's power and wisdom available to you. (Acts 1:8, 1 Cor 1:30)
God desires to work with us to bring wholeness and healing in our spirit, soul and body (1 Thess 5:23, 24).
God cannot fail (Zeph 3:5). He will never leave you or forsake you (Heb 13:5).

"What if I mess up?"

That's okay! We all do. God is more interested in the direction of our walk than He is in the perfection of it. If we mess up, God has provided His son Jesus to help us.
"My little children, these things I write to you, that you sin not. And if anyone sin, we have an advocate with the father, Jesus Christ the righteous." (1 John 2:1)
The word advocate means: "one called alongside to help." God has also given us the Holy Spirit to help guide us. (Luke 12:12, 1 Cor 2:13)
With your new identity in Christ, you will soar to higher heights of tranquility. If man fails you or betrays you, you can say with confidence, I have God on my side. Almighty God is your protector, provider and your teacher.

Remember, with God, all things are possible! And He is the God of all flesh, nothing is too difficult for Him. (Matthew 19:26; Mark 9:23; Jer 32:27)
