I
started teaching myself HTML in February 1996 and
found web design to be a great hobby and an interesting.
The
Facts - I'm not the only one. I believe that there
are 300.000.000 users on the Internet today ! And
there are 160.000 new people logging on to the Internet
every single day. 40% of the homes have internet access
today, and it is estimated that 90% will have Internet
in their homes by 2006.
I
am an optimistic person, about humanity on a macrocosmic
level, and about my own life on a microcosmic level.
I consider myself to be a compassionate, good-natured,
respectful, open-minded, friendly, and honorable person.
More importantly, though, I think that those
who know me well would attribute these qualities to
me. To me, the need to preserve my honor and
integrity is the driving force behind who I am and
what I am about. The way I see it, this world
can strip me of my wealth, my home, my clothes, and
even my life. But it cannot, and will not, strip
me of my honor and my integrity.
As
you browse around my pages you'll catch a glimpse of
the things that have been a part of my working experience
and it makes me proud of myself being as a Tour Operator
in Indonesia. Although there's bits and pieces here
about various things, my pages are mainly dedicated
to the Enthusiastic ( Adventurers, backpackers, divers
and hikers ) of any overseas travellers. My Tours and
Travel Business point of view has been growing in such
a prime-resource on the Internet both in one-stop-shop
or free-info services.

I
live in UjungPandang
( Today it's been renamed to its original name
"Makassar" again ), the capital city of
South-Sulawesi. The island of Sulawesi ( formerly
known as Celebes ) is a holiday destination that
contains a great variety of exotic people, wildlife
and nature wonders.
Why
do people choose Sulawesi
( Celebes ) as a destination ? I spoke to many travellers
while on Sulawesi ( Celebes ) island and they all
seemed to say the same things. They had come to Sulawesi
(Celebes) and exploring Toraja
Land because they either had heard such wonderful
things from friends or relatives who had been there,
or they had visited previously themselves. What people
seemed to like the best were the friendly people,
the culture and the untouched beauty of Sulawesi at
most.
Sulawesi
is a really holiday destination that is becoming popular
with those in search of the exotic. The region where
I live is in the South of Sulawesi ; a region of dramatic
contrasts - of rugged volcanic peaks and glistening
white beaches. So it's hardly surprising the region
is home to two vastly different peoples - the seafaring
Bugis / Makassar
and the mysterious highland of Torajans. If you are
