The Vegas Artists' Guild has several places listed below which allow our members to display and sell their artwork. These locations do not charge any fee or commission on the sale of any art work displayed under the auspices of the VAG.

HATS OFF TO OUR MEMBERS-
Ann Bonk is exhibiting at Brewed Awakening on Sahara and Eastern in July; Pat Kaufman showed in June.
Dorothy Hammond is exhibiting at Desert Art Supplies on Green Valley near Sunset during July; Athena Manasses showed in June.
Margaret Lloyd is showing at the Derfelt Senior Center.

Gabby Hirsh and Karen Wheeler are showing their work at Digital Galleries during July. The show is titled "Curious Creations" and features Karen's paintings and Gabby's poetry. Digital Galleries is at 7501 Lake Mead #106 (SE corner of Lake Mead and Buffalo). Their number is 869-9130.
Karen Wheeler also recently acquired the representation of Erika Nelson in California. You can read more at Erika Nelson's new web site, www.erikasfriends.com.
Steamy Raimon and Karen Wheeler were both (separately) featured in the View neighborhood newspapers on June 19! Finally, click on the headline "Artist draws from experience" to read about Steamy or "Artist displays her abilities with a paintbrush" to read about Karen. (Steamy's article is also in the Southeast edition; I didn't check the other editions.)
Polly Wisener recently showed her work at the Kolob art gallery in Springfield Utah (on the outskirts of Zion). She also had two pieces in the Dixie College Invitational and sold one of them!
Mildred Sparrow received first place in drawing/printmaking in the Las Vegas Arts Commission's "Celebrating Life! 2002 Senior Art Competition and Exhibition"! As such, her work was displayed at the Derfelt Senior Center through May 31, then the Lloyd George Federal Building through June.
Sam Chinkes is exhibiting his sculpture at Left of Center Art Gallery on 2207 W. Gowan Rd. North Las Vegas from February 21, 2002 through April 26, 2002. Reception is Sunday February 24, 1:00-3:00 PM.
Karen Wheeler, Yoko Konopik, and Jackie Nourigat each had a piece of work accepted into the Artist At Play exhibit hosted by the Clark County Parks and Recreation Cultural Division. The reception is Friday, November 30th, 2001 at 6:30 p.m. in the Winchester Center Gallery located at 3130 South McLeod.
Cheryl Weinfurtner had three paintings accepted in the NVWS Fall 2001 Show and was awarded The Juror's Award of Excellence for "Hot Yucca Sundae". The show runs thru Dec. 27 at the Tam Alumni Center, UNLV. Cheryl also had two paintings accepted in the NVWS Flamingo Library Exhibition and won Honorable Mention for her painting, "Museum Offering". The library exhibition runs thru DEC 17. Members of The Boulder City Art Guild have selected Cheryl's watercolor painting, "A Violet Fragrance", for their quarterly McFadden Award.
