Here's some styles for long hair. Long hair ranges from the shoulders to the floor.

Here's a style for some "glitter goth's", get those little tiny clips they can be the butterfly ones if you want (I use black butterfly clips), and take the top of your hair into 5 pieces, do not twist them just pin them back about three inches from the hairline, take about three or foue little wisps of hair and put them in front of your eyes. use hair mascara if you want. It goes great with some cat eye make-up. From Mists |

From Kelly Paine: Try this one; it keeps long hair off your face when you want to dance like mad in a club, and looks kinda cute as well. The style has become known as "Baby Spice pigtails" over here in the UK, but I think it looks better done this way!
Part your hair just at the front of your head down the middle. Then take
a small section from each side, and tie back with a small hairband and
add long ribbons etc in any colour/style you want; I find red, purple,
and black sparkley ones work well. Pull a few wispy bits down at the
front to soften the look, and if your hair is REALLY fine like mine try
a squirt of hairspray to hold things in place. |

From MiZ NoTHinG: style#1- this style is extremely easy to do, can be done on very long or quite short hair and looks vaguely historical, annnnnd is quick for people who have college/school wotever. all you do is get all the hair upto about 2 inches away from your forehead, and seperate it from the rest of your hair. remember to make sure it is parted evenly. uneven partings look unprofessional and scrappy. plait each side of the front hair so you get a thick long plait, and don't secure it til you get right to the bottom. then brush the large remaining part of your hair back into a bun, taht should be placed not too high or too low at the back of your head. and there you go. style#2- this works on most lengths of hair, except crops- and hair with lots of natural volume, if u don't have natural volume, backcomb and hairspray or just crimp first.do the partings as above. then get the majority of your hair and secure it in a tiny knot in the middle of the back of your head. then kind of loosen it so it looks beehive ish, and back combed. next you need hair mascara that coordinates with your clothes/hair colour. i used to do mine with fluerescent pink on peroxide hair with balck clothes, and now i would do black on purple hair with black clothes. with the mascara wand tease out strands of hair from the beehive thing. as many as you think looks best. but it looks best if you get lots because then it looks bigger. with the leftover front bits cover them in lots of hair mascara and then either crimp, hair with mascara on looks really good crimped, or tease. style#3- this is easy to do and looks best on people with very lonng hair. its the goth bunches thing.do the parting thing as before to get the two front bits, and then divide the rest into 2 right from the nape of the neck. and then get the hair into two really high bunches basically coming out the top of your head. to get really high ones, sit down and get someone standing up to do it, or if u're by yourself hang your head down and do it that way. secure it with some really big fat chunky scrunchies because this will make them your bunches taller. you can then either leave it like that or tease and hairspray, or crimp loads. important thing- invest in a pair of crimpers, they're not expensive and they're worth it anyway |

From Ophelia: I don't know if I'd call this goth, but it's extremely elegant and goes with anything and is so simple to do it's disgusting. It especially works well with shoulder to waist length hair. I suppose you could do it on short hair, but since I have long hair, I have no idea how it would look.
First, there are some things you will need: -Ophelia |

From Starlette: This works best on shoulder length and longer hair. Mostly for a glitter goth. Start at your crown, part down the middle down the back of your head. Take one side and crimp just the last 3 or 4 inches. Pull all of that side of your hair into one and twist it up. Once it reaches a bun type thing, secure it with a few bobby pins. Leave a couple of inches on the ends sticking out and tease them with some glitter hair gel. Sprink pixie dust in your hair all over. Repeat on both sides. This should keep your hair out of your face if you are having a mad rush of psychotic krayziness and will look mega-stylish. |

From Chant: all right i do this one all the time.. it is quick and easy and everyone always loves it..this works best for people w/ thick curly hair...but if you want to try ..go ahead...okay first you part your hair down the middle..then you put each part into a ponytail (not to close to your neck)...make sure that they are tight..now you start them kind of like a topsy tail...for those of you who don't know how to do this.. you make a hole w/ your fingers in the center of each pony tail and flip your hair through it.... BUT... don't put your hair all the way through this time..make sure that you start to push the hair in from the top of the ponytail first (the part closest to the rubberband... okay now push most of the hair in so that only some of it sticks out.. do this to both sides...and it will look something like little fluffy pigtails....lol... |
