Was born in Andronik (Yaroslav), in 1894,
in the bosom of a peasant family.

to the Bolshevik Revolution and took part in the civil war.

In 1942, participated in the battle of the site of Stalingrad
as chief of a underlying army to Yeremenko. Per year following
was appointed general to the command of the 3º Army, first,

with the guerrilla trainings of the future marshal and yugoslav
president Tito. Tolbuhin, promoted meantime to marshal, to continued

it was empowered of Budapest (February of 1945) and from Vienna
(April from 1945). It was chief of the Soviet occupation
