Soaring over its world this gull is master of the universe.
And like this bird we want to fly across the oceans from continent to continent, see the world in all its glory.

HOW I LEARNED TO LOVE TAKING PICTURES.

It all started with my first binoculars my husband gave me, many years ago.  That caused me to look at the huge oak tree in our backyard, in search of birds.  I'd always been in love with Nature.
In the followings months I began to really become involved with not only the visual images of birds, but in their sounds.  As a result of that I began to start collecting books and doing research untl I began to understand something about the different species which were gathering in our backyard.

As you can see we get all kinds of visitors throughout the year.  This is an adult dark-eyed (Oregon) Junco bird.  I have no idea what might have fascinated it at that very moment, but it sure looked as if it were really worked up over something, as if it were frantic looking for some hidden seeds.   Which is rather funny, since I keep a huge supply in feeders by on and off the ground.
