| The east side of the North Transept was originally occupied by two chapels, one dedicated to St Gregory and St Benedict, and the other dedicated to St Nicholas and St Giles. Today, there is only one chapel which is named the Gregory Chapel. | to dedicate to = jdm. weihen |
| The Gregory Chapel is a quiet place for prayer. Next to the altar is an aumbry where the Reserved Sacrament is kept as a focus for prayer, and in cases of emergency to take Communion to the housebound, sick or dying. The cupboard is made of Cedar of Lebanon. The glazed terracotta Annunciation is nineteenth century after the Florentine School of Della Robbia. | prayer = Gebet
